26 year old Fatoumata Owoseni was found unresponsive at the 39 South Munn Avenue apartment she shared with Babatope. The police have not released info on how he allegedly killed her. Babatope has been charged with her murder and is being held without bail at the Essex County Corrections Facility.

This is very sad... I knew Tope since we were around 18 years. He was a naughty guy but full of live and love. It's sad the way things are at the moment. I think he married the wrong woman. Its true he had temper back then but he married a woman that aggravated him too much. How many men or even women on this blog will support a woman that brings another man into their matrimonial home while the husband is there? He went through a terrible marriage. This couple never lived a good life together. I am not justifying killing or beating your wife in this case, but maybe this will help anyone going through this right to take a cue from this. Just work away from such marriage and don't let it get to this stage or beating or killing each other. Let common sense prevail!
Please note that i knew this guy from Akure and we met again in the US. So i have a good knowledge of their problem... to some extent. Its really sad for both parties.
