AY.COM vs Terry G + Naija News + Tuface idibia's 10th Anniversary pictures

I've asked this before and I am going to ask again. If you feature in someone's song, do you have a right to perform your part of that song in your private shows? I heard R.Kelly perform his part of the hit song 'Hotel' with Cassidy at the Thisday Music Festival in Abuja. I've heard Timaya perform his part of Jay Martin's 'Good or Bad' in shows. So many artistes do it, but is it allowed? Especially when the original owner of the song doesn't want you performing it?

I'm sure you have all heard about the drama going on between AY.Com and Terry G. If you haven't, read the story below, as written by City People Magazine.

AY.COM vs Terry G

Terry G

In a recent show at the University of Lagos, Nigeria Hip Hop singer and ‘Pass me your love’ crooner, AY.Com, knelt and pleaded with Unilag students while on stage to stone Terry G whenever he visits their school to perform his song. AY.com who had been in battle of words with his close friend and producer, Terry G, over the copyright of the song, told the students that he was the one financed the ‘Pass me your love’ video which cost him N1.4million. He also said the costume worn by Terry Gin the video was provided by him. He buttressed that despite the huge amount he invested in the song, Terry G, has been the one reaping the benefits. The singer said he has warned Terry G several times not to perform hissong in shows anymore, but Terry G, refused to yield to his request.

Naija News + Celebs Then and Now Pics

Pasuma on why he's still single - City People Magazine

"I don't want to rush in and rush out. That is why I am taking my time. Marriage is a life time project. I have kids out of wedlock. My first child is 18, and the second one is 15. I stopped having children and I have made up my mind to settle down permanently, instead of impregnating different women. I want to live a decent life. I am a role model to a lot of people and I live up to expectation"
Well said

Dr Raymond Dokpesi (Daar Communications - AIT) on how he 'toasted' current wife, Tosin Odukoya Dokpesi - Bukola Adewale (City People Magazine)

"I ran into Tosin in London and she told me she felt she should inform me that she would be resigning when she got back to Lagos. I asked her for her reason for wanting to resign and she said she had met the man she wanted to marry and she would be relocating to the UK. I told her I wasn't going to accept that. That was a lady I'd never had any sexual relationship with, but I liked her. So I went to Lagos and without telling her, I went to see her brother, he asked me if I'd discussed it with his boss who was my friend and I said no, I thought it was a private discussion. By this time Tosin had already given her notice of resignation. Her brother asked me if I'd spoken to her, I said no. He then told me to go talk to her and get her reaction. So I left him and went to see Tosin's sister and she chased me with her dogs. She said they were one united family and there was no way I was going to break that. After this, I went to see Tosin's uncle and told him I wanted to marry his daughter, he said let me talk to my daughter.

The couple with their new born baby

Before then, there was nothing going on between us, but I told her I won't let you resign because she has done so much. She has supported me and she needed to be appreciated. Maybe she married me out of sympathy, but I also stood my ground. I begged, I cajoled, coaxed and prostrated. I told her I needed a companion and she was committed to my course"

Kimberly Anyadike: Youngest African American Pilot

Kimberly Anyadike, 15, stands in front of her single-engine Cessna plane during her historic cross-country flight.

She departed with a dream and returned home a record-breaker.
Inspired by the Tuskeegee Airmen, 15-year-old Kimberly Anyadike flew a single-engine Cessna cross-country from her hometown of Compton, Calif., to Newport News, Va.
Anyadike is thought to be the youngest African American female pilot to complete the journey, which took 13 days. She arrived home in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 11.

Anyadike learned to fly at age 12 through the Compton-based Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum, which offers aviation lessons in an after-school program for disadvantaged youths, the Los Angeles Times reported. It was their plane that she flew on her cross-country trip.
The brave teenager came up with the idea for the trip on her own, the museum's founder, Robert Petgrave, told the Times.

"I told her it was going to be a daunting task, but she just said, 'Put it on. I got big shoulders,'" Petgrave said.
Along for the historic ride were an adult safety pilot and 87-year-old Levi Thornhill, one of the Tuskeegee Airmen during World War II.

"They left such a great legacy," Anyadike said of the U.S. Army Air Corps' all-black combat unit. "I had big shoes to fill. ... All they wanted to do was to be patriots for this country. They were told no, that they were stupid, that they didn't have cognitive development to fly planes. They didn't listen. They just did what they wanted to do."

About 50 Tuskeegee Airmen autographed the young pilot's plane during her journey, the Times reported.
"I wanted to inspire other kids to really believe in themselves," Anyadike said.
Anyadike? That sounds Nigerian to me...
Is she?
