Daniel went to the hostel to see a female friend when he was attacked by some guys who shot him point blank in the face. Daniel died instantly.
Students of the school and friends of Daniel who sent me this story said he had just 20 days left in school before graduation. He was supposed to start his final paper next week Monday.
The reason why he was killed is still unknown as friends say Daniel wasn't a cultist; he was just a popular good looking rich kid. His parents and the police have been informed about his murder.

I attended Uniben and I can say for sure that Ekosodin was one helluva place to live, it was one of the centres for cultist activities...rapes, killings, burning of other student's rooms etc, u name it went on a lot there. Some time in 1999 or so a great number of cult members renounced and i thought there'd be peace but i can see that's just a fairytale and i guess fairytales are for dreamers. I really don't know what cultists intend to get out of these terrible actions they carry out and i wish they could just understand that there is only a temporary glory or reconition or woteva they will get from being in a cult.

Daniel was my friend and classmate. I shed tears as I write this. He was not a cultist, just a cute lovable boy with the trademark afro. Was it not just 2 weeks back we had out final year week. Just 20 days to graduate. I have stayed in ekosodin for four years and it was not easy. Community clashes, cult clashes here n there. Most of us live here cos there are no accomodations in school. The school has refused to provide security for us knowin fully well that ekosodin houses most of its students. Its a pity Afro D did not survive ekosodin.
