Matthew 15 vs 1: Then some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked, 2 “Why do your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don’t wash their hands before they eat!”

3 Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?

My take- for Christians- all men were created equal and we are one in the sight of God. God's laws supersede every tradition . However if you feel your tradition is more important, the freedom to choose what to do is yours

One thing that I like about yoruba culture, Niggas gon' be on the floor for you as a sign of respect. In Igbo land, we go ask who him help especially if the dude ain't got money again.

Unknown said...

What about your other governors and presidents that are kneeling before pastors, besides, Papa Olumilua is an evangelist. Fayoshe, carry go joor.

wao... this man is hummble

There is NOTHING bad in kneeling for the former governor, if the man is old enough to be his father. It is a matter of pure respect. The Yoruba people are known for deep respect especially for their elders. So, no fuss about that.
