Do u see why this country would never spare any drug dealer caught in the act. These little kids may have been abandoned by their parents who are into drugs. So sad.

Unknown said...

It is sad 2 look at now but sometimes the kids on their way 2 work will turn out 2 be the Stars of their generation!

Pity. That's a typology of society fighting itself. It's a bane suffered by most third world countries. Nigeria found in the list. When we walk in opposite directions, the society keeps the fight alight. #Compulsory child education everywhere#

Looking at the picture, the little ones going to work didn't even notice the ones going to school, even as the latter were trying to wade in between them! The ones going to work are deep in discussion, I wonder what they are discussing. Probably how bad their parents and government are treating them!..... The one at the extreme left is walking dangerously on the highway and could be knocked down any moment by speeding vehicle! What a sorry sight!!!

Surprisingly, some children run away from home to live on the streets. This picture encapsulates what my organization is trying to do with street children. The idea is when they see two or three of their mates looking smartly dressed in uniforms the idea of being on the streets might not be so appealing.

Rigggghhhhhttttttttt how do you figure when they currently don't have a way to prevent things from cutting their shoeless feet or u didn't notice they are bare feet. Education is the most basic foundation especially under what looks to be the age of 10. You can take any child from any country and put them in any class in any language under age 7 and they will learn that language. Put an adult....well I sha managed B- in french because of grace but that was a lot of studying for that poor mark. Stars are formed by developing innovative brains in this formative years and not by suppressing it while they pick trash on the road in the heat for 12 hours a day so they can afford some meals that week

It's truly a pity. Child labour should be condemned and abolished. But the difference between Indonesia and Nigeria is that there is no terrorism, youth restiveness and ritual killing and kidnapping yet. But with the growing population of out of school children, it's only a matter of time. God please heal the world.
