Jada Pinkett Smith shared the photo on her Facebook page and wrote;
"Had the pleasure of meeting the brilliant and amazing Dr. Bennet
Omalu. I'm so proud of Will's courage to tell Dr. Omalu's story. I can't
wait for you guys to see it:)"
Dr.
Bennet Omalu is a Nigerian forensic pathologist. He was the first to
publish findings of chronic traumatic encephalopathy. He fought against
efforts by National Football League to suppress his research on the
brain damage suffered by professional football players. Will Smith
portrayed him in the movie "Concussion" which depicts the doctor's
efforts to publicize CTE.

Our successful brother, our igbo fellow.
~D great anonymous!
see what Jada wore. typical akata. they don't know when to cover up. what a shame.
and i second the notion that will smith did a horrible naija accent. so that was even meant to be nigerian accent??? thought it was south african. lawd! tired of these oyinbo/akatas mixing up distinct africans with the same token african accent from COMING TO AMERICA. Annoying

Omalu is my uncle. U ride monkey u no tell me.
Expecting this to be a wonderful movie.
Thank you Will Smith for highlighting the postive contribution of a Nigerian to sports in America. #proudnigerian
Akata for a woman who can change your life if she knew of your miserable existence? That slur is more appropriate to you than to her in this lifetime or her next 500. She's living in America, Jack! Women have freedom to wear whatever they want. They don't have to dress only conservatively because the unwritten rule is they hide their bodies to keep men from temptation. That's why she showed up in her undies and still rocks compliments.
Proudly 9ja. keep representing Dr. Omalu.
Royal Priesthood,
Thank you for congratulating Nigerians abroad for all their hard work and positive contributions. Many people don't know that you have to work twice as hard as the regular citizens here. You have to overcome racism, and the perception that as a Nigerian, you will be fraudulent, or that you will be as corrupt as our leaders. Then, you still have to stand out. There are many Ben Omalus here working hard every day and flying the Nigerian flag. We will continue doing the positive acts even as we support our people back home. Dr. Omalu, God bless you!
Anon 5:29, that is ehn, now its good job, he's a nigerian, blah blah, no more Igbo dis, Igbo dat, looool, confused people. But anyway they can keep hating, thats what we know dem for, toothless bulldogs, after all their gra gra Igbos always always move ahead and make it, Dr Omalu is really our son, his courage, smartness and progress is what we do. Make that movie about this Igbo man nde ocha! Igbo ga na aga niru! Igbo amaka nu! And yes my dear anon, they will deal and continue hating if they like, its for their pocket, as for us, we choptas not. Igbo and so damn proud of it.
As in! We're everywhere, representing ourselves and making our fathers proud, while the haters are always behind us barking.
Lol, oh so now he's a Nigerian, no more a country divider or criminal-minded. Fake cowards. Gaba niru, son of Igbo land, may our Lord keep blessing strong, hardworking Igbos, ya mee!.
