Your shorts have to be an inch above the knee and not too tight. No pockets.
Your top should be V-necked to draw attention away from your waist and be a bit loose around your tummy to hide the love handles. An empire waist top with V-neck would look lovely.
To add more pizzazz wear bold jewellery or a nice fedora hat.
