A family fun day out in Australia turned into a panicky affair when an unexpected guest literally dropped in on the picnic party. The incident which was caught on camera shows people gathered around a BBQ as a hawk approaches with a snake in its talons, the bird of prey drops the snake right in their midst leading everyone to scamper off.
The video was filmed by Douglas Wong as he enjoyed a family lunch on the River Yarra, in Melbourne.

Haba, it's no buggy...the hawk was simply experimenting with snake suya and wanted the experts (humans) to help it put finishing touches to it's meal!!

Incredible!!!! The hawk probably was having a difficult time killing its prey so it had to come up with a master plan which was to throw the snake to people and allow them do the killing for it and then will fly in later to feed on the carcas. This behaviour has also been noticed in urban birds which drop hard nuts on busy vehicular roads for the vehicles to crush. Nature is interesting!!!
