CBN lifts FX operations restrictions all commercial banks sanctioned last week for non-remittance of NNPC funds.

The Central Bank of Nigeria has lifted the restriction on Foreign Exchange transactions it placed on 9 commercial banks last week for failing to remit $2.12 billion belonging to the nation’s oil corporation, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), into the Treasury Single Account TSA. The nine banks comprised of three tier-one lenders and six tier-two deposit money banks.

This man is next to Jonathan, all he does is trial & error method. All his policies were reversed i'm expecting the interest rate to go the same way. I ask myself how where did he schooled that thought him all his method dont they think through before giving policies.?

Have been at home for months doing nothing, pls I need your supports financially, am not financially boyant to take up this task, am a graduate. I want to set up a little thing doing,i need all of your supports financially to see me through, 10k or 20k each will go a long way in achieving a little trade, even if it's a lingering business I don't mind rather than sitting at home all through. Emefiele is messing up our exchange rate each time he bans or freezes something the black market jumps several points. When he reverses himself the black market doesn't return back to the pre-freeze state.

This apendage of GEJ'S government should be replaced with a seasoned economist. If there is none in country let's head hunt around the world for the best. Afterall the Bank of England boss is a Canadian citizen we don't necessarily need a Nigerian for every position
