Nigerian police is a disgrace.when you buy them car they will start selling the good body parts of the car.Do you know that if your being chased by a Nigerian police car just look for highway they will stop because there fuel is always on reserve.No one wants to refill besides government should work on that.The police are not supposed to buy fuel.Stations like NNPC should refill there tanks and give the bill to the federal government
Naah! Many a time it's actually the policemen driving these vehicles that refuse to fall in line. Go to their stations and take some time to observe the state of their personal vehicles, then compare that with the brutal 'punishment' they visit on hapless patrol vans... Good thing that when the breakdown happens, they themselves do the pushing... Motor karma!
Nigeria Police are the worst handlers of vehicles. I guess it's because almost every politician or government donates vehicles to them as PR stunt. So they don't care about Maintenance
and u expect this same people to fight crime in the state or not collect bribe ?i pity for IG talking nonsense when he cant even improve the lives of his staffs.
I am not more concerned with the state of the police vehicles then the bad roads on which they ply. Our useless politicians travel abroadand see good network of roads like the ones in the UK and US. why must our roads have gutters by the side that create avenue to dump rubbish on. This lead to sewage and stench on the road. So, I plead with these politicians to start constructing road with western standard
If a police officer went thru all this stress on the road pushing their vehicle back to the police station, and you came to report a case expecting them to follow you, by the time they finish swearing for you ehh lol!!!
What you guys fail to understand is that the said vehicle was not second hand when the government bought it, those motors are 2010 to 2015 model brand new but because they see it as police vehicle nobody is ready to even wash the motor not to talk of servicing it, check out their personal cars, Tokumbo for that matter ooh and you will see that it will be in a very good condition.
