What a big blind country! The OJB case has now been turned into one big circus with celebs being FORCED to dole out money to the ailing producer! So what happens if another renowned producer or musician falls ill tomorrow? Will this gesture be replicated by the media and the 'well-wishers' who have now turned it in a publicity stunt?
The real solution is not in this charade of a fund raiser where celebrities are being wrongly targeted to contribute. This would have been a great opportunity to challenge the ministry of health to invest in a world class hospital for renal problems somewhere in Nigeria. How much will it cost to set up one? Do you know how many unknown 'OJB's' are out there struggling with the same ailment everyday. Who will raise $100,000 for them?

What a big blind country! The OJB case has now been turned into one big circus with celebs being FORCED to dole out money to the ailing producer! So what happens if another renowned producer or musician falls ill tomorrow? Will this gesture be replicated by the media and the 'well-wishers' who have now turned it in a publicity stunt?
The real solution is not in this charade of a fund raiser where celebrities are being wrongly targeted to contribute. This would have been a great opportunity to challenge the ministry of health to invest in a world class hospital for renal problems somewhere in Nigeria. How much will it cost to set up one? Do you know how many unknown 'OJB's' are out there struggling with the same ailment everyday. Who will raise $100,000 for them?
