How to send eye witness stories to Linda Ikeji Social

So you have a unique story to share with Linda Ikeji Social. Here are the steps you should take to achieve this. Steps in sending an eye witness story to Linda Ikeji Media

1) First, Sign in to www.lindaikejisocial.com. If you have created an account sign in with your username and password.



If you don't have an account click on create one for free to create an account and input your details then you will get a verification email which once verified would give you access to SIGN IN.
2) Click on the SUBMIT STORY icon on the top right corner or on the mid left side of the home page.
3) Fill in the details of your story in the page which comes up using the guide below.

Title: Put a title for your story with the prompt: ‘Give your story title’ Body: Write as well as you can to describe what your story is about. Don’t worry. We have editors that would make it look better. Make sure all the points in your story are included in what you have written.

This is on the second tab with the prompt "Story Details" Picture/Video: The saying that a picture - and by extension video - is worth a thousand words could not be truer in eyewitness reporting. We want pictures that you snapped yourself about your story. Or at least original pictures that cannot be found anywhere else.

These pictures should be from the scene of whatever eye witness incident you are sharing or an original shot indicative of what your story is about. For instance, if you are writing about traffic or an experience which you could not cover with video for some reason, we expect you to go out at your convenience and take pictures that would correspond with the story you are sending. The more pictures you have the better. To upload picture(s): Hit on the browse tab and select pictures from saved source.

To upload multiple pictures at once select all from your source file folder before clicking on the grey ‘Upload’ icon in the tab. When you click on it notice the green upload indicator bar rise to show upload progress. Please wait until its 100% proceeding.

If you don’t have a video to go with your story you can proceed to ‘Submit’ to send your story. If you have a video you can also send it with the pictures. The steps are below. To upload videos: To upload an original video of the story you want to share just add the link of the video file to the section with the prompting "Optional Youtube Link".

What this means is that you have to upload your video on Youtube first, then just copy the link of your video to the tab ‘Optional Youtube Link’. Presently only videos that are already on Youtube can be shared.

Terms & Conditions/Submit : Accept our terms and conditions and then click ‘Submit’ to send your story. We will get it.
