Fulani herdsmen destroyed my over 20 hectares of palmoil plantation in enugu' Man laments

The man, Rev Celestine Ikechukwu Odogwu, a farmer based in Ogor-Affa in Udi LGA of Enugu State writes in
My palm plantation was recently attacked by fulani herdsmen about two weeks ago (precisely 17 Nov), they destroyed my plants with their cows and set my farm ablaze. Some time last year this same thing happened on my farm and when confronted they pulled out their gun and threatened to shoot my co-farmer if he does not leave.
My greatest pain is that i finance this plantation single handedly with my little life savings and bank loan of over N3m and i beared the loss,Now they have come back and made the same destructive activities.last year damage i over looked it and replanted this year, pls,i need word to go out on this cos if i keep silent no one will know such thing happened,i have reported to relivant authorites but nothing have been done about it.Am appealing to Government and NGO,s to come to my assistance as we farmers are suffering gravely in the hands of these men who are even ready to kill anyone that confronts them cos they carry fire arms...i will send u pictures of the damage plus police officers at the crime scene, before and after destruction of the young plantaion,my passport photograph.

Our future economic mainstay-agriculture- is what the herdsmen are toying with. Laws have to be taken into the hands of indigenes since there seems to be no solution to this problem. Gather-brush them.

Something urgent needs to be done about these Fulani herdsmen, their activities are becoming sickening, if they are not killing people, destroying farms, they will be kidnapping people in their land.
This thing is getting out of hand.

The destructive activities by Fulani herdsmen in the east is becoming too much, and government of every eastern state needs to do something before it gets out of hand.

Yet when this obvious facts are stated, there will be denials and backing from high places. We do not think it is right for people to be in farm their very villages only for some foreign bodies to be destroying their sweat.

The so called northern governor won't talk. When massob starts their own now, they will start giving news conference. These animals need to be taught a lesson. Otherwise they'll continue taking every part of Nigeria as their heritage.

bible said that what a man sows he will reap. the same way they burnt your farm is the same way they and families and generations coming after them will be burnt. it's a pity, but there is nothing federal government will do about your case because your attackers are his brothers. just look unto God.

Since you reported to the authorities last year and they did nothing just arm yourself and your farm security.

Next time they visit your farm with their cows, call the police immediately, then position yourselves in strategic locations and shoot dead at least 5 cows.

iam chidinma, government and well to do Nigerians should kindly assist this good and innocent nigerian, who did not resort to vendetta mission not minding this high level provocation in his home state. as for you Ali Mohammed, God will surely punish you for supporting evil.

Just look at how subdued, how timorous our people are!!!!

The Fulani Islamists/militants, masquerading as herdsmen, are right on the offensive terrorizing everyone while we look on clueless...

The state security apparati as well as the state governors are just playing politically correct, while thousands are being felled by the Fulanis all across the killing-field called Nigeria...

The Buhari-led Federal Government is pretty arms akimbo, and would not so much as broach it as a subject meriting discussion, let alone take a decisive action against it!!!

In Plateau State alone whole villages have been sacked by them in a series of endless onslaughts...

In Benue State, whole communities have been turned into graveyards right beneath their daggers....

In Ondo, Edo, Delta, Ekiti States, etc their onslaughts have remained unremitting, with estimates that the death toll in their wake has left even Boko Haram comparatively a minion...

It's time we squared up to those bloodthirsty bastards....

It's time we shunned political correctness, procure guns by hook or crook and blow out the skulls of those vermins...

It's time we took our destinies in our hands and fight for our lives, fight for our families, fight for our native land before those verminous jihadists complete the Islamization of Nigeria, which their forebears, led by Usman Dan Fodio, inaugurated in the 18th Century...

Wake up Biafrans..

Wake up my people!!!!

Can't you understand what is going on?

Can't you see???

What is wrong with us????

For how long are we going to continue to play politically correct while we are being mauled and terrorized into becoming pussies???

Please get your guns and shoot down any so-called Fulani herdsman poking you in the eyes and calling you a coward....

Shoot them down!!!!

Behead them if you must!!!!!

Kill them all!!!!

Draw the Battle-line!!!!!!

i honestly don't understand this fulani herdmen. they go about with their lives killing and causing destruction wherever they go. it really quite disturbing. its like they came from the stone age and trying to figure out their place on the food chain, killing whoever or whatever comes their way.
its really very sad. this are amng the things that makes someone fear any "uneducated Hausa". they ar like a living time bomb dat can explode anytime. ## very scary.

How can we diversify our economy to agriculture when Fulani herdsmen are destroying our farms with impunity and no government seem to have a clue of what to do, let all herdsmen maintain their own farms, keep their cows there and feed them, why is it only in Nigeria herdsmen terrorise citizens?

HAUSA FULANI'S CRAP IS GETTING OUT OF HAND...NIGERIA SHOULD DIVIDE SERIOUSLY...

the government should investigated this pastors claim and see the possibilities of assisting him,in anyway possible. he is a true Nigeria. i believe he is not lying as the picture of the police investigators are there. senators, house of representative and minister of agriculture where are you in the midst of all these invents.

Anonymous said...

Mr. president, this Fulani herdsmen are trying to spoil your government, they are trying to create another war front, you should not allow the idea of robbing peter to pay Paul, exist in your government. let Federal and state government, carve out a compensation plan for farmers with genuine cases of destruction by the Fulani herdsmen, as a lot of farmers and would be farmers are being discouraged by this ugly incident. i know the Fulani's are your people, pl sir, remember your earlier statement that says, you belong to no body and belong to all.
this is the time to show the world whom you really is.

our leaders in this country knows how to keep mute in the midst of evil, they only speaks out only when and event touches them or their loved ones directly. i was told that top people in government and outside government owns this cows and employ the services of the herdsmen, little wonder no action is taken against them

Anonymous said...

i have visited several countries in the world, hardly you see herdsmen and their cattle's all over the place as we can see in Nigeria. dear Nigeria farmers my advice to each an everyone of one of you is to kill any cow that enters your farm land, since the government at all levels are not compensating and very decisive in stopping this ugly trend by the herdsmen, these farmers supplies the food we eat, therefore we should handle them with utmost respect, honor and support.
when they cry out, government and well meaning Nigerians should come to their assistant quickly.

Anonymous said...

the down fall of president buhari government will to keep silent in the midst of evil, allow injustice to be done by his party members, well wishers, the herdsmen and their cattle, without speaking out to condemn and punish the perpetrators of the evils, like the herdsmen.
i wish to remind him that, being the president of Nigeria, does not exempt him from divine judgement. he should call the Fulani herdsmen to order. if Nigeria farmers revolt i do not he will be comfortable in that aso rock. the same word goes to our so called law makers and governors.
to him much is given, much is also expected.

shame unto the Fulani herdsmen, destroyers of our future.
