THAT IS NICE, PROVIDED THEY HAVE THE REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS, ITS AN EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY AND A MORAL BOOSTER FOR THEM; AT LEAST THEY HAVE BEEN REWARDED FOR SERVING THE NATION. VERY COMMENDABLE

Very good. They fought and sacrificed against boko haram more than the soldiers in some situations. They also know the territory very well.

Shut up there! The Boko Haram war in Borno is over 6 years old now,President Buhari is already more than a year in office. So they have had ample time to have had tne SIX MONTHS basic training. Besides, these boys started direct from the war front. They dared go were so many soldiers couldn't go in this war. They are the real heroes of tbis war!

I concur with Nseabasi. It is only good if they possess the required qualifications but injustice to qualified unemployed Nigerian youths if they don’t .The northern military hegemony in Nigeria today is a function of such practice dated back to the era of western colonization. That is why some serving or ex-serving military personnel could not simply present their WAEC certificates for the world to see. Some may have to hire a heavy number of SAN to defend their actions. #Not too excited#Mixed feelings...

Stupid! Its not right, one side of the country will have more solders than the others.it was wrong to use them fight boko in the first place, when we have the army. A real war situation they can only act as informant and not combats and afterwards paid off.

They deserved it kudos to FG

I hail the boys bravery, their training was directly from the frontline of war.

All of you are saying good, how can they recruit all the Hausa into Nigerian army?or are they going to carry out the excise in every geopolitical zone? Curse one they they will send this stack illiterate troops to south south and they will behaving the Aboki way.

Anonymous said...

Is this in addition to the northern slot for the army this year, if so, it goes against federal character and amounts to lawlessness.

THIS IS WHY I CALL OPC, MEND AND THE OTHER MILITANT GROUPS DUMB.

THEY COULD BE AN ORGANIZED REGISTERED ORGANIZATION TRAINING THEIR PEOPLE FOR SECURITY JOBS WITHIN NIGERIA AND EXTENDING SAME TO OTHER AFRICAN COUNTRIES.

ONCE THEY BUILD AN EXCELLENT REPUTATION, THEY COULD BE A SOURCE OF EMPLOYMENT FOR THEIR YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN BEYOND NIGERIA.

COUNTRIES, INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS WOULD GO TO THE SOURCE (THE REGISTERED GROUP) TO SEEK PERSONNEL THEY REQUIRE.

EMPLOYMENTS FOR THE UNEMPLOYED IN THE SECURITY FIELD THROUGH A WELL ORGANIZED AND REGISTERED GROUP.

THEY WOULD ALSO BE PROVIDING PERSONNEL FOR SECURITY FORCES WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE NATION.

INNOVATE AND STOP FIGHTING FOR GUYS TO SIT ON THEIR HANDS AND DO NOTHING PRODUCTIVE BUT DESTROY.

THE GUYS DON'T WANT TO WORK, YOU KNOW THAT, CHANGE THEIR WAYS AND BUILD THEM INTO BETTER PEOPLE WHO WOULD ALSO PROTECT YOUR REPUTATION WHEREVER YOU SEND THEM.

INNOVATE, THE ONES YOU CALL INFERIOR JUST BEAT YOUR DUMB ASS TO GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT.

Foolish Anonymous, you are a Nigerian and you don't know that Hausas are not indigenous to Borno/Your/Adamawa states? Go seek knowledge instead of wasting your time here.

I don't really understand the rationale. You take civilians just like that and enlist them into the nation's military without undergoing any form of training to become a professional soldier.
I'm looking at the constitution of the army and whatever books of our land that justify this kind of sectional enlistment into the nations Army. If I don't find one, sure this matter will get to the National Assembly .We must get clarification on this kind of sentimental recruitment into the NA

He is not foolish. If they are sincere let them also recruit some bakasi boys, OPC members, MEND members et al into the Nigeria Army. Like play like play, Buhari is unfolding his hidden agenda but it will not work.

How?

Anonymous said...

.... and so many people applied online, not knowing that they have already done inside house recruitment.

Anonymous said...

@Fresh you should be the one to keep quiet. You speak ignorantly.

What's wrong with them been recruited into the military if they are qualified after all they have done the military job and have served the country in their full capacity. How do you want Nigeria to reward them?
Have you forgotten that when you train a man in a military way and if he is unemployed, he will become a menace to the society? This civilian JTF went through partial training by the military and it's right for them to be absolved into it after serving faithfully.
