Teen commits suicide after murdering army vet over a girl

In a most tragic case of a love triangle gone awry, an unidentified 17-year-old boy shot himself dead after killing 25-year-old army vet, James Ayala, a father of five. The teen had found out his girlfriend was cheating on him with Ayala and invited the pair to a friend's house where he shot the army vet dead. The incident took place in Harris County, Texas.


His mum drove him to the police station to turn himself in where she told police she was there to report her son who was involved in the shooting, Sgt Cedric Collier drew his weapon and asked the lad if it was true, he said 'yes' then promptly stepped behind a vehicle and shot himself in the head. He was taken to the hospital where he died.

The shooting is currently under investigation.
