The coach who as at yesterday told Nigerians he was working hard and scouting players to ensure Nigeria beat Egypt in the double header AFCON qualifiers next month, shocked Nigerians by going on Twitter to tender his resignation citing 'unfavourable working conditions' and 'contract violations' as reasons for quitting the job.
In his letter sent to the NFF General secretary, Mohammed Sanusi, and dated February 25, 2016, he said.
“Your contractual violations and the interest of the nation necessitates that I tender my resignation and recourse to the termination of our working agreement,”Former Super Eagles coach and technical director Shuaibu Amodu and Olympic team coach Samson Siasia have been reportedly penciled as temporary replacements to take over for the must win match against Egypt next month.
Siasia posted a short stint as Eagles coach between 2010 and 2011. He was fired after he failed to qualify the country to the 2012 AFCON in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea while Amodu has twice helped Nigeria qualify for the World Cup in 2002 and 2014.

Ok
Nigeria have got no good players but few, so what do u expect making such players later in the years coaches? Nothing to produce so that is why d NFF will keep firing coaches and some coaches will keep resigning till thy kingdom comes.
siasia preferably

Vincent Enyeama must be laughing out loud now.
Oliseh is immature to handle such jobs & never coordinated.
Farewell to him.
Wish them luck
I think Amodu will be a better option... dee
Oliseh is a disappointment....ProudlyDeltan
Let the best man get the job.
the thing best is to go for foreign coach and he should be assisted by a Nigerian. NFF keeps on recycling.. Amodu has handled Super Eagles twice and Siasia once... Why going back to a bed that don't give you comfort
Ok seen...
Is replacement of Oliseh with doz pple the solution?
Which of our local coaches have not been in the ststem before? Bring the best coaches in the world, even Gardiola they will still end up like others with the so-called NFF.
Why cant doz old fools in that house be overhauled completely and let federation be run by merit.
The earlier we do this, the better for our football in this country
Ok
Soldier Go Soldier Come, barracks still remain
Samson's head tho

OLISEH IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL...WOW
Wetin be time abeg?
Wetin be time abeg?
I've always believed in Siasia.Dunno why they fired him.Now isn't it a shame that NFF is going back to the very men they sacked? Only a dog regurgitates & take it
Siasia would win
-D great anonymous now as Vivian Reginalds

Amodu is better.
I don't envy dem. Coaching Super Eagles no be for the faint hearted. Linda take note!

That's alright.
What does he mean when he says unfavorable working conditions? I think that's what we should be talking about now.
U don't want to know how players are shoved in the faces of some of our coaches by force and by begging.
Govt shud dissolve Nff..
Bunch of clueless peeps.
Brood of vipers
Enugu's second shoe designer
Yes, what do you expect when we have the crop of the people leading the football house. Let them think very well before they will act as we have very competent hands who can handle the Eagles very effectively. They should not be bias as they have done while changing Mr Keshi. Now they know they have burnt their fingers but they should not forget that they are toying with Nigeria and should be extra careful as they will be judged one day. May God save Nigeria and the football house. Toks
