This romantic drama has deeply connected with Nigerian Movie lovers with most married couples calling it out as the "boldest" and "best Nollywood movie" on the subject of relationships and marriage.
Since the movie premier in Ibadan and all through the month of February, lovers have trooped into Cinemas across Nigeria to enjoy the flick directed by Lord Tanner and featuring Nollywood rising stars like Adesua Etomi, Lilian Esoro, Enyinna Nwigwe, Kiki Omeili and Okey Uzoeshi. Falz the Bahd Guy made his Nollywood debut alongside his love interest "Judi" played by Juliana Olayode (Jenifa's Diaries). Completing the cast is MBGN 2015 Unoaku Anyadike and October 1st Star - Demola Adedoyin.
Nationwide Ticket sales tracked by Filmone Nigeria, shows that in three weeks of its release the movie Couple of Days has smashed its way into the top 20 highest grossing movies in Nigeria..
The photos below speak volumes on the movie's ability to connect with its audience as crowds and queues have been recorded across cinemas nationwide with sold out cinema halls .

I watched this movie yesterday and a totally good movie was ruined at the end. The twist at the end was fake and unneccessary. Everyone left my movie hall angry and we were over 50. Watching movies in Naija is great though, the side comments and all the fun from people in the cinema hall is great. Glad to be back in my country
FilmHouse has become the head liars in chief of The Nigerian film industry. This film that had only 10 people inside on valentines day. My stupid ex dragged me there instead of deadpool.

One of the best Nigerian films I've seen in a while! Went with 9 of my fam & friends and we all felt same, that hardly happens when we go to the cinema to watch film
Couple of Days was a breathe of fresh air (apologies to other Nigerian movies) the script is rich, realistic, entertaining and educating. "Ni ilu ibadan", makes you appreciate your local heritage. The characters had a brilliant connection and to think the movie was done in 4 days. Wow!!!! Kudos to the actors and the producer. You should watch it. It gives a deeper interpretation of what love is and how to choose forgiveness when you have a choice. I will watch the sequel (if it has) and it deserves to bag awards.
