Chairman of the Senate Ad-Hoc Committee on Mounting Humanitarian Crisis in the North East, Shehu Sani, says the committee's interim report that indicted the Secretary to the Government Federation and Chairman of the Presidential Initiative of the North East PINE, Babachir Lawal, and others, is not out to witch hunt anyone. Sani said this against the backdrop of comments made by some Nigerians that the report is aimed at fighting those who are not in support of the Senate and its leadership.

I can't stand this guy with his arrogant morally superior attitude. Before he went to the senate, he promised to shake things up when he got there. Now he's one of Saraki's main backers. His committee prepared a report without at least calling the SGF to answer the allegations. Even if the guy is guilty, give him fair hearing. Being a rabble-rouser does not make you right. It might give you cheap popularity among many gullible people, but eventually you'll be found out. Like I said, i cant stand this guy.
