A GoFuneMe page has been set up to help Jackson's family, called the 'Montrell's Fallen Hero Fundraiser'.
A family friend said:
'Words cannot describe the devastation that we feel right now, and would ask that those who are able to please contribute to this meaningful cause in order to assist Montrell's family financially during this time of mourning. 'Rest in Peace, Montrell, you will always be our hero.'The 32-year-old's friends remembered him as someone who was passionate and loved his job.
'He loved his job,' friend Darnell Murdock told The Advocate. 'It motivated him to go out and change people's lives. He was on the force to help people, to make you have a better day. 'He was humble, kind and sweet. … He wasn't on there to write tickets. I don't understand how this could happen to someone like him.'

To all my brothers and sisters let let us just pray for God to take control of all our hearts.
please let us also remember that revenge is not the answer to our problems.
Also remember that some of you are not bron in Africa and you don't know anything about African although people call you Africa American.just remember America is your home and living in revenge because of your lost ones is not the answer to the country you born, love and leave in all your life.
let try as much as possible to talk to each other to forget and forgive.whether you are black or white let leave as one family for peace sack.I believe the American people dont hate us this is just the work of the devil.but God will definitely take control
may all the souls that the USA have lost R.I.P

Sadly, America, the melting pot of world's civilisation, culture, race and heritage is gradually sliding back freely into the 1960s. The era of civil disobedience, black panther movements, Kuklux Klan, and black power rings true! The legacies and dreams of Martin Luther King Jr., Malcom X, Ralph Abanathy and others are like shattered. One would've thought that the election of Barak Hussein Obama in 2008 built all the bridges needed across the various racial divides, yet racial relations in US got worse by the day. America needs to rise above this, 'it takes much energy to hate' the slain cop was right. Aurevoir Montrell! May God save America!
Sad! May his soul rest in peace
So sad. Violence is never the answer. Blacks don't destroy the dreams of Martin Luther king.
Eeeeeeeeeeyah! Linda take note!
Seen
Eyahhhh dat's painful
Oh, sad
The American govt has not done much to see grieving blacks pacified over their killings by the police and these are the reactions. Feels for the brother who lost his life because he was a police man
