I'm absolutely sad to report that Rhythm 93.7FM PH on-air personality,
writer and motivational speaker, Iphie Aggrey-Fynn was shot dead by kidnappers along Aba-Port Harcourt expressway yesterday. The Ghanaian-born OAP and blogger had gone to see her parents in Aba and was on her way back to Port Harcourt when the car she was in was attacked by kidnappers. As the driver of the car attempted to speed away, the gunmen open fire on the car, killing Ifeoma. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.

This is very sad! Ifeoma is a Nigerian as well and grew up here, her mum is Ibo. She went to ABSU. Lovely and lively girl. I think she has a young child from her university sweetheart. Linda, you just spoilt my entire week. This country is totally useless and can't protect her own. Stupid country

Linda she is leaving close to my house she was at the gate of her house with her boyfriend in her parents house that was where the robbers kill her and carry her boy friend with them. Aba is not safe at all a lot of people are moving out to another place. Is so sad
That is Port Harcourt for you. People think that Maiduguri and Yobe is where it is happening because of Boko Haram. No. It is happening live in villages around PH and also in the city. the place is on fire. Many villages are now deserted in one Etche LGA for example because gangs have taken over the villages in a territorial showdown and will kill anything in site - dogs, chickens and goats. Humans were being slauightered on an average of 1 a week in small villages until people ran away from their villages. My freinds from Etche tell me that a lot of villages now overgrown by weeds. Kidnappers dens now everywhere. Yet, we are worried about BH. BH is only scary to all of you because they call teh name of MOhammed so you shake in your shoes. At least you know what drives them. When someone is seeking power through suppression and oppression, how do you manage that. WHen will teh Nigerian Army send in troops to these communities to restore order?

Unfortunately she wasn't the target but a friend she was with in the car who just got back from the UK. We are family friends and grew up together. Kindly confirm the news you have up as a lot of other blogs have copied it. R.I.P Ifeoma.
