Popular Rhythm 93.7 FM OAP, Iphie, shot dead in Port Harcourt

I'm absolutely sad to report that Rhythm 93.7FM PH on-air personality, writer and motivational speaker, Iphie Aggrey-Fynn was shot dead by kidnappers along Aba-Port Harcourt expressway yesterday. The Ghanaian-born OAP and blogger had gone to see her parents in Aba and was on her way back to Port Harcourt when the car she was in was attacked by kidnappers. As the driver of the car attempted to speed away, the gunmen open fire on the car, killing Ifeoma. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.

I have always followed this blog years now, but never commented. this one pained my heart,, won a ticket on this lady's programme on Rhythm fm once in my undergraduate days in Awka. Always listened to her show then.. May God grant her family the fortitude to bear the loss and May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace... Amen.

I met you once in Port Harcourt. You were extremely funny, down-to-earth and warm. A lot to talk about even as strangers. God bless your soul. I hoped to see you again on my next planned trip. Saddened by this news. Truly rest in peace dear.
