Saw this some weeks back on their website..great to see foreign media speak about us positively for a change. We do have a lot of talent our main problem is corruption and good management, this cuts across alll facets of life not just public service.

Americans know Nigerians are very accomplished ppl..i have lived in the US long enough to understand this..when I was in New Jersey ppl would always ask if i was a doctor bcos the universities around were full of Nigerian students, and the general east coast area has a lot of Nigerian doctors, teachers, and other professionals..one of my friends in Los Angeles told me that he is surprised i am not a math whiz, that most Nigerians he knows are great at math..the only problem is that sometimes..Nigerians come off as too aggressive and rough around the edges. When i moved to Texas and went to a store..a Cameroonian lady told me she didnt believe i was Nigerian bcos I was so nice, friendly, and civil...we just have to revamp our image and learn to conduct ourselves with a little more class and decorum...
Tiffany amber looks too pretty for a yoruba girl. Is she half half? Like her parents both yoruba? Or one is and the other isn't? Kudos to her.
@ Anonymous 1...what do you mean "Tiffany Amber looks pretty for a Yoruba girl?". Is beauty reserved for only a certain tribe or tribes. Doesn't every tribe have pretty as well as not so pretty people? What tribe are you sef and are you pretty? Tiffany Amber is a full blooded yoruba and there are hundred of thousands of yorubas who like her are pretty.Tired of ignorant folks like you.Pshaw!
Btw, Linda, nice article! It's a pity it wasn't seen by mainstream America
