Etim, the General Overseer of Jesus Covenant Bible Ministries located at Nwayi-Imo bus stop, in Nnewi, Anambra State was reportedly killed by unknown men in front of his church, hours after a vigil service. The grisly discovery was made by his first son.
The deceased believed to be in his forties and from Akwa Ibom State, was stripped to his underwear with hands and feet tied behind his back. An item which looks like a nylon was also used to tie his mouth.
It is suspected he must have been killed somewhere before he was dumped inside the gutter.
Officers from Central Police Station(CPS) Nnewi led by the Divisional Police Officer(DPO) Mr Ikechukwu Egbochukwu(SP) dispersed the mammoth crowd that gathered at the scene before taking the body to an unknown hospital to be deposited in mortuary.

Is there any CCTV in Enewi talk less of the area or church surroundings? Once you build a church, kindly buy and instal CCTV equipments too and hire security guards. No where is really safe in the present world. All church pastors should take note because CCTV evidence would have exposed his killers. People should be encouraged to record strange activities on their mobile phone camera too. Somebody may have seen something therefore attach a ransom for information because these murderers should not go scot free! RIP!

Why would u attack a man of God like this? This was deliberate. It was not for jazz. It was not as if someone wanted him dead it seems like a crime of anger. Hope he didn't go and sleep with someone's wife or daughter. Pastors these days need to be careful
