Four people have been confirmed dead after a 5-storey building collapsed at Chisco bus stop, opposite Oando Gas Station in the Lekki area of Lagos this morning. Spokesperson of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye, says five people have been rescued from the rubble. Rescue operation is still ongoing.

this is really sad but it was supposed to happen sooner than later. I do not know of any Lekki Garden development that was built to last. The one built close to Elegushi is next. All the principles of building solid structures are consistently flouted by this company in the name of providing "affordable" houses to Nigerians.The Government should please arrest this situation and investigate into other developments by this company. Lord help us!
