Cool
Look at these long pigs.
Ok
These racist again
Don't think any Nigerian should complain about racism, because the racism (we make it sound good by calling it ethnic sentiment) we have to each other would make racism by any white man Childs play.
Nawa oo
The man needs to be taught a good lesson as he was also accused of assault apart from fare evasion meaning that he's been a criminal. If he was trained at home not to steal then he must be taught outside.
You cannot blame the owner of a property that where he puts his property is not right but you must blame the thief for stealing. Hence the police were right as they did not rough handle him for no just cause.
Why do you continue to soil the name of your country? May God forgive us all. Toks
Rascist? Kind of. If na white man dem no go baton am so. The man dey lucky. If na Yankee, na gun dem go use. Im too for buy im ticket.
It's bad, I doubt if they would have done that if the victim was white
Oga who Told you that?
Linda I love this new site design ooo...
The man was ASSAULTED in the process of arrest!
The man should come back to Nigeria then...
They knew what the white man is doing is wrong and their conscience tell them the truth that's why they issued a statement rubbish!!!!!!! UK
D use of force was justified as d susp was resisting arrest....Section 117 PACE (police criminal and evidence act) empowers officers to use reasonable force under such circumstance
Serves him right!! Next time he will pay his fare, just because he is nigerian you people will excuse his unlawful behaviour, if he had paid his fare will he have been arrested???
O
Ok
Alright
Fare evasion na naija conductor he still think say he dey ff deal ni but I just hope dey tender justice wit mercy for him sha
That particular officer doesn't like Africans obviously that's y he used his baton on him because of this silly reason...
This video is pathetic. The Nigerian guy was not aggressive and does not resist arrest. His emphasis was that he should not be treated ad a crminal.
Also,he was in no way security risk .As much ad I do not condone fare evasion, the action of the British police was excessive .He was not running and insisted he would follow them but does not appreciate being treated as a crmininal.Beating him up with a baton was excessive and should he conderned. Linda, just like,ESE' case, please push this forward.I live in Europe, blacks are being abused daily.
Linda u would hv break down what his offence is, cos I read but still don't understand d grammar here.
And d excuse here is not Convincing pls break the Grammer and from d video we watch that man looks so responsible and gentle, in fact his so embarrassed by d humiliation they gave him pls someone should tell us what his offence is.
Racism of the highest order
...if that cop had a gun, i'm sure he would have used it!
Racism
Anyways hope he has learn his lesson. I don talk my own o
Pure racism
It's well with nigeria in UK.
Too barbaric...
Okay...
You guys should apologize to him..
#FINEST
So does this statement in any way justify why he was being hit with a baton??? This is a typical, notorious & cunning way of evading a question that begs to be answered!
Why was he trying to avoid paying fare?
When you resist arrest, that means you are assaulting the officer. The officer has the right to use deadly force. Nigerian police would have done more damage with the baton to his body.
Yeye rascist
Dt man is someone's husband, father, son and brother. They humiliated him,,,,.and he kept screaming for them to hear him out. It's wickedness jare
#Linda'spal
Na waaa ooooooo!
You're a liar.
What's different? 😂both treating them like trash.
Nawa
I wonder why Nigerians just cant think atimes, i saw the video and heard the man insisting that he would go with the but they should not treat him like a criminal. And thats just an expression of fudamental human right which is also recorgnised by international law . And if he was actually guilty he would not have been granted bail. My question is Can a Briton be treated in that manner here in Nigeria by our own Police. Its time the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs begin to defend rhe right of her citizens all over the world .
NIGERIANS ARE CRIMINALS AND FRAUDSTERS,ACCORDING TO BUHARI, SO THEY SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE THAT
Where did you get your info from ??? And all the black young men killed everyday in Yankee is a safer option ??????
Am sorry Nigerians at home don't understand how the system works here they just rant and spit rubbish! Thieves are not celebrated here, an old man like this trying to cheat the system! That is what killed Nigeria as a country today , they have wrecked Nigeria and now it's time to wreck another persons country. The stupid man resisted arrest, he should have obeyed the first order, he became a threat to the police the moment he refused.
If he is in The Uk on a visa , well .... It's time to go back to Nigeria, even if heis a Brits , not born in the Uk they will start investigating what a cheat made the authorities to believe and how he got his stay. Now if all back ground checks are done and no loop holes, he is going to have a criminal record and if he does not have one, he will have something attached to his name on Uk s data base,he may even loose his job, no one would want to employ him. Etc . The foolish man even said just because he evaded fares! Every police officer or most have cameras and all sort of gadgets attached to their uniforms which transmits everything said to the station, that is going to be used against him in the court.
You are evil.
He didn't resist arrest. He refused to be treated inhumanely. Why must he go on the floor?
When they arrest you for market na una your own go worst pass. You Ugly pig. See your face as e be. Tribalistic fool. Linda abeg post this my comment
@Anonymous 9:10AM true talk. Anybody that evades fare is a thief even if he didnt steal directly. He is indirectly a thief and a thief is a criminal and should be treated as one. He brought that his Nigerian unruly behaviour to the UK. They give Nigeria a bad name wherever they go. He deserves what he got. Next time, he wont try it. Most Nigerians supporting him here are fools. So are you telling me that if you have a transport business and somebody did not pay the fares, you will allow the person go free? Pls be reasonable.
@Oluwa Bukola if he knows he is someone's husband, brother, son or a father with children, then he should have respected himself by obeying the laws in another man's country to avoid humiliation and embarrassment. So if an armed robber steals and he is caught, just because he is somebody's husband and father, they should treat him like a gentle man? Rubbish!
Serves the guy right. Stop giving Nigeria a bad name. Next time, obey the laws when you are in another country. If it was in Nigeria, them for naked am or give him jungle justice. He never see humiliation. This one na small one.
Evading fares is still a form of indirect stealing
They should forgive her pls, it's being 10yrs since d incident occurred, sending her to jail will not bring back d death neither will it change what has happened, it was a mistake she didn't do it deliberately am sure Ibinabo couldn't hav hurt a soul if she were to be in her right state of mind.
The guy is totally at fault. Even a white british will be treated the same way if he is got for the same crime. Nigerians stop putting sentiments in this issue. He refused arrest which is a crimal offence. He was told by the officer once. You need to understand the rules and regulations of other countries before you travel.
I am sure he knows the rules he was trying to seek attention from passer bys. He is soo lucky he was not tased.
You just don't go to other countries and misbehave. Why did he not get his travel ticket in the first place? It's a criminal offence to evade transport fares it's boldly written in every station.
He knew what he was doing and he got what he deserved.
@Anonymous your points are baseless. if he's been accused of not having a valid ticket all they could have done was take his details and send him a fine. Firstly, a police does not have the right to hit a citizen. secondly, he was'nt resisting arrest. He was willing to go with them to the station, why the need for all that. Every one has a right. so does he to know why he has to get on the ground. i'm surprised other white folks that watched this saw it as barbaric and the police was unprofessional. He wasnt a threat and would'nt require to be handled by force. i guess if the police tells you to get naked on the ground you would comply without asking questions

Good
And of all places to evade fares he chose St Pancras station? He's still a learner and I'm not sorry for him.
