A youth corps member died this morning in a fatal road accident that occurred at the Akwanga-Lafia road in Nasarawa State. The corper served in Karu local government in Nasarawa and was on his way to Lafia for the Batch C Passing Out Parade when he met his untimely death on the really bad road.
May his soul rest in peace...amen.

This is very sad indeed. Although different things may have caused the accident, we need to call GOVT attention to our bad roads. You need to narrowly escape big potholes on our roads to know know that God just delivered you from sudden death. The list of bad road is uncountable in this country but check out Lagos-Ibadan express way, Apapa-Oshodi expressway.

@Anon 10:25pm, LOL..... i read your comment..... very funny obviously someone young and doesn't understand the gravity of what really happened. Also, the fact that "she" blames GEJ, probably says a lot about "her" age.... All said.... Bin driving for about 18years, and I understand certain things about accidents.
1. Accidents are related to over speeding;
2. Bad roads "prevent" accidents contrary to the believe that it causes accidents;
3. Inexperience of the driver "a youth corper"
So probable cause of death was Over speeding + Very good road + Inexperience of the driver.
This is also similar to a new employee who recently buys a car and he is traveling home for Christmas or a musical artist that dies in an auto accident. They are all related new car+ inexperience.
Lastly, I think we should still blame our Government too "GEJ" for one second, assume this accident happened in dubai or the US..... would the story have been different.
Just thinking...... the moral of the story is if you must be Over speeding + Very good road + Inexperience of the driver..... don't drive in Nigeria.
