Osun State declares Monday June 12 as public holiday

In a statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Adelani Baderinwa, Osun State has declared Monday, June 12 as public holiday to commemorate the June 12, 1993 presidential election.
The statement partly reads, '“the public holiday is to commemorate the June 12, 1993 presidential election believed to have been won by the late business mogul, late Bashorun MKO Abiola, but was annulled by the General Ibrahim Babangida junta'.

The government of Osun under Gov. Rauf Aregbesola has been celebrating the day since 2011.

This is the same thing the Igbo's did and the useless Arewa youth backed up by their elders gave the Igbo three months notice to leave the North and no meaningful Nigeria person even our government did not condem it. Allow the Igbos to be on their own no way, Allow them freedom of expression no way. One thing will surely happen one day. The northerners think they are punishing the Igbos by sending them packing Lol , while the Igbos were the ones that developed the north. I so much pirty you the Northerners because by the time Igbos leave, your place will be like a desert .No Country or state can be alone they will surely lack development. I strongly advice the Igbos in the North to leave as quickly as possible and the Northerners in the Eastern part to also leave . Let's know who will suffer most. People make statement without reasoning they forget that the Northerners are also working in the Eastern part of the Country. Even the federal government did not condem that harsh statement. I wish the Igbos will leave that desert called North. For their Muslim cannibals to inhabit. Igbos come back and build east.
