The statement added that two suspected members of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) linked to Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo) have also been arrested for planning the assassination of a Kaduna-based military officer and the bombing of oil and gas pipelines.
The statement reads:
“On 7th June, 2016, one Kabiru SHUAIBU, the ring-leader of a kidnap gang, comprising his accomplices namely: Haruna SALEH, Tukur SHUAIBU and Abdulmumuni ADAMUNA, were arrested by the Service along Murtala Muhhamad Bridge, along Lokoja-Abuja Highway, in Lokoja, Kogi State. The suspects were part of a criminal gang which has been terrorizing innocent citizens in the Northern region of the Federation.
During their arrest, a locally-made pistol, seven cartridges, 14 mobile phones and N615,000 were recovered on them. On 8th June, 2016, one Reuben Akinbehinje aka Chairman, the ring-leader of a notorious kidnap syndicate, was arrested by this Service in Akure, Ondo State, along with five (5) other members of his gang namely; John Imoleayo Uche, Seun Lajuwon, Seun Iseoluwa Akintayo, Lateef Fayemi Hammed and Saheed Oyewo.
The Akinbehinje gang has been the brain behind the kidnap of two Catholic nuns in the State and other criminalities such as armed robbery, hijack and diversion of fuel tankers and cult-related activities in Ondo, Oyo, Osun, Lagos and Kwara States. Similarly, on 12th June, 2016, this Service arrested one Ifeanyi Michael Onyike, a suspected kidnap kingpin at D-line, Port Harcourt in Rivers State. Onyike was involved in the kidnap of Ebere Chinda, wife to Igo Chinda, the Personal Assistant (PA) to the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi.
Further to this tactical offensive, on 25h June, 2016, in one of the North-Western States, one Sani Abdullahi, and his three accomplices, namely Rufai Tukur Abdullahi, Najeeb Abubakar and Abdullahi Ahmed, were apprehended by this Service. The group has concluded arrangements to embark on serial kidnap of high-value targets in Katsina State, before their arrest.
This gang has hitherto been terrorizing the North-Western States of Kano, Katsina, Kebbi and Zamfara. In a bid to stem the activities of vandals in the Niger Delta, this Service effected the arrest of Selky Kile TORUGHEDI, on 17th June, 2016, in Calabar, Cross River State. Toruchedi is an ex-militant and suspected member of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), and was arrested for planning to assassinate one MB.Yahaya a serving military officer. Toruchedi, who is a close associate of Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo), had already conducted surveillance at the residence of Yahaya in Kaduna, preparatory to his plot when he was intercepted.
He is also fingered as a sponsor of pipeline vandalism in some States in the South-South region. Suspect is currently assisting the Service, with critical leads. In a related operation, this Service arrested one Christian Oluba aka Sensor, another suspected militant with the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA). Sensorwas arrested while perfecting plans to carry out explosive attacks on critical oil and gas pipelines, including critical storage points.
Meanwhile, sequel to increasing threat posed to public peace by the activities of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB), this Service arrested one Chidiebere Onwudiwe, a graduate of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering and known member of IPOB, on 22ndJune, 2016. Onwudiwe and his associates within and outside the country, were planning to carry out coordinated attacks against religious bodies/edifices, Police-Check Points and the computer village in Ikeja, Lagos State, with Improvised Explosive devices (IEDS).
The suspect was apprehended while making logistics supplies for their nefarious plan. In another development, on 19th June, 2016, at Langtang North LGA in Plateau State, this Service in liaison with the military and Police, arrested one Nanpon Sambs (aka Yabam), an illegal arms dealer. SAMBS is a member of a notorious black market arms syndicate led by one Peter Nehemia (aka Adagyo) which operates in the State. A Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) launcher and circuit charger were recovered from a Toyota Highlander SUV belonging to the suspect".

Retired Major General Muhammadu Buhari and his Department of State Services (DSS) have once again failed woefully in their spurious attempt at criminalizing Biafrans and branding the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) a terrorist organization.
In an incoherent and error-filled statement sent to the media, the DSS stated that “sequel to increasing threat posed to public peace by the activities of the Independent [sic] People of Biafra (IPOB), this Service arrested one Chidiebere Onwudiwe, a graduate of mechanical and chemical Engineering and known member of IPOB, on 22nd June, 2016.” The stark illiterate-filled DSS in their statement further noted that “Onwudiwe and his associates within and outside the country, were planning to carry out coordinated attacks against religious bodies/edifices, police check points and the Computer Village in Ikeja, Lagos State, with Improvised Explosive devices (IEDS)” and that “The suspect was apprehended while making logistics supplies for their nefarious plan.”
First of all, let us just point out only two out of the several errors in this pack of lies from the DSS’ statement; (1) We are Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and NOT “Independent People of Biafra”. Even in the records of all the court cases concerning the illegal kidnapping and unconstitutional prosecution of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to which the DSS have been part of, there was no place where the word “INDEPENDENT” was used and (2) At which University in Nigeria can someone graduate in both Mechanical Engineering and Chemical Engineering at the same time? Even in the more advanced countries it is very difficult to achieve such a feat not to talk of the Buhari’s run-down universities in Nigeria.
It is laughable that the DSS is accusing IPOB of posing increasing threat to public peace while they have not made a single official statement concerning the mayhem and havoc being exhibited everyday by Boko Haram and the so-called Fulani herdsmen. Up till today, the DSS has maintained stoic silence on the killings at Agatu and Nimbo.
CONTINUE ...Perhaps those killings do not pose threats to public peace because the people killed were “infidels” that deserve to die as they are not of the Hausa-Fulani Islamic blood. It is very interesting to know from the DSS that IPOB can now manufacture IEDS and Chidiebere was probably manufacturing them in his sleep when DSS hooligans broke into his house and kidnapped him at about 2am on June 22nd, 2016. We want to tell the DSS that we know their objectives and every discerning mind knows them too.
The DSS is trying as much as possible to tag IPOB a violent group. The questions we want to ask the DSS are: Do we cover our faces when we march on the streets around the world? We are registered at the UN, if we are a violent group won't the UN know? Kidnapping people in the middle of the night, denying them access to food and water, legal and medical help in the hope of getting IPOB members to testify against the leader of IPOB will not work.
The fact that this bumbling and idiotic DSS even contemplated insinuating that Computer Village, mostly owned by Biafrans of Igbo extraction, is a target for such an attack exposes the idiocy of those that run Buhari's Secret Police. If Buhari and his Northern Killer Squads like, let them kidnap, kill, torture and threaten as many Biafrans as they like but one thing they can never succeed in doing is to weaken our resolve to leave the Satanic Lugardian contraption called Nigeria.
We are prepared for imprisonment, torture and death at the hands of the dictatorial and extremist regime of Buhari but in the end Biafra shall come. Dr. Dozie Ikedife, working at the instructions of DSS, gave an interview to a Yoruba anti-Biafra newspaper where he shamefully called IPOB violent and a propagator of ethnic hatred.
This paved the way for DSS to come out yesterday to laughably label IPOB a terrorist group trying to bomb Biafran businesses in Ikeja-Lagos. The world must be placed on notice that should anything untoward happen in and around Ikeja area, the DSS should be held responsible.
Irrespective of the shenanigans of Buhari and his DSS and the subterfuge of the Igbo-slaves in the molds of Ikedife, Enwo-Igariwey and co, the nation of Biafra must be restored. When we say the restoration of Biafra is irreversible, it is irreversible!!!

I am always in shock when young Nigerians attack themselves on social media whenever an issue arises. This is as a result of the bad precedent our leaders and parents set for us. My people, let us learn to work as a nation, even though we know there are quite a number of tribes that make up Nigeria. In my opinion, this story sounds unrealistic and funny. Computer village ikeja is made up of mainly with people from the east and south and I tell you that an average eastern business man is a supporter of the struggle for the realisation of biafra. If you doubt me, try and engage them in discussions and you will see for yourself. So, this story in my humble opinion is false. Fellow youths, let's learn to wear our thinking cap and not get involved with wars that we cant even explain the origin. We are all excited about wars cos none of us have witnessed the ugly side of war. Why do you think that those that participated in the Nigeria/biafra civil war are not interested in any struggle and fight. Youths Pls leave all these politicians and their views and ask your grand parents (if they alive)to give you their account of the civil war. After the tale, I don't think you will ask for war or chaos. In conclusion, sometimes I wonder if these insulting posts I read everyday actually come from Christians and Muslims. I know for a fact that both religions preach peace and love. So does it mean our churches and mosques are just mere edifice where we visit for the mere sake of being religious. Let's look inwards and see that we constitute 95% of our problems in naija. We don't need hate comments at this time. If Nigeria will be one Nigeria, we are the ones that will make it happen.
