I have gone through most comments and its funny how some people reason, Ali Baba is free to air his view on the issue and should not be insulted for holding that view. The issue is a matter of law and no longer a case of choice to live as a gay, its a criminal offence to be gay in Nigeria. It is not true that every western culture is right, presently not all European countries have endorsed gay marriages and not all the states in America. Presently the state of Utah is at the Supreme Court opposing Gay marriages. If majority of our people do not want it so be it and since it is now a law, if Gay people in Nigeria wants it changed, they should stand up and constitute lobby groups and push for the amendment of the law but until then it is a criminal offence. I personally do not support gay marriages and will feel most uncomfortable to relate with an openly gay person. Just as I feel that way about them its personal to me as I don't understand how a man can have feelings for a fellow man. This is how I feel and there is nothing western or civilisation got to do with it.
