Young man, you can make it happen. Trust me. If you are below 35 yrs, you can make it happen. You just have to decide, believe and take control of your life. Be very diplomatic and tactful in your dealings with people, but do not cheat yourself in other to please people. With that in mind, carefully (and diplomatically) disassociate yourself from all negative or non performing "friend". Decide who is or who isn't useful to you in your life. Decide the people who you think should be useful in your life, and if you are not friends with them already, make them your friends. Don't worry about being snubbed. You are the one in control, so you are the one to decide if you are offended or not. You have to be thick skinned. The most successful (self made) people are thick skinned. It's almost impossible to make them lose their cool. Ignore stereotypes. See people for who they are and not their tribe, or their accent, or their looks or how they dress. Look people in the eyes when you talk to them so you can see their true feelings. Improve yourself - learn new words, follow trends (technology etc), know what's happening in the outside world. Do not be obsessed with fashion and cars (unless it's your business and you are promoting). Do not buy anything that you are not easily afford. Buy a Range Rover only if you can "easily" afford it, everything has its time. Always try to have savings because you'll always need money. Take calculated risks (risks where you have accounted for every eventual outcome). Don't take foolish risks - walk away if you have to because there would always be other opportunities. Be patient (or at least pretend to). Remember that most times, it is not about how you see yourself, but how people see you.
Your business with God is between you and God. Do not get carried away with any earthy church or mosque. Don't spend your life praying and waiting for a miracle, instead go out there and try and make things happen. YOU DON'T NEED TO PASS THROUGH ANY PERSON BORN OF A WOMAN TO GET ACCESS TO GOD. God is with you all the time, wether you like it or not. Just carry go and do you thing, and do not blame you success or failure on man or God - YOU ARE IN CHARGE.
Finally, register a company as soon as you can. Don't wait. Form your company based on anything you are good at or know how to do, no matter how trivial. As soon as it's possible, print your business cards, and if any money comes in, do your website.
