Shocking revelations: Maitama Sule, Inuwa Wada, Chidi Odinkalu speak in WePictureNigeria series

WTN Business and Technology Solutions and Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) presents, the first episode of a new documentary series titled “WePictureNigeria” which features interviews of Founding Fathers, Leaders, and Influencers focusing on Nigeria's history pre and post-independence.

This episode features Alhaji Sule Maitama, Inuwa Wada, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai and Chidi Odinkalu who share deep insights and shocking personal stories of Nigeria’s history from the pre-independence to the post -independence era of Nigeria.

“I went on a personal journey across Nigeria to talking to variety of people who influence the history of Nigeria” said Luqman Edu, Founder of WTN Business and series director, I finally decided to go on his journey after myself and a group of colleagues under the Nigeria Leadership Initiative were teaching some young students about civic responsibilities and leadership. When asked who Nnamdi Azikwe was, one of the students confidently answered, he owns an Airport. My heart sank!
How does anyone reduce such greatness to an airport edifice? That moment I knew someone had to engage my generation and those behind me on their history. If you do not know where you are coming from, you cannot know where you are going to. Putting this series together has been almost a
one year journey that's still not over but I am extremely excited by the openness and honesty shared by these founding fathers. This is a series everyone surely wants to watch"

this video made me think of what should have being and the level of decay both morally, socially, financially and politically our society has descended to and makes me wonder if we can ever be great again, if there is hope!!! it is a good thing that this documentary is doing and I hope it is aired on all TV networks to educate Nigerians as a whole.

Hausas, Fulanis and the rest of the dark skinned Arabs masking as Sub Saharan Africans are the major problem with this country. A group of non-productive people with no supply but massive demand and expectations. Terrorists. What a travesty Linda that you can publish this trash celebrating men who pepertrated the genocide of the Ibos in northern Nigeria.
This British socio-political experiment called Nigeria is a joke and will continue to be that if we the people both natural and by design, stop looking at a past we had little or nothing to do with and agree as a group to go back to existing the way God Almighty arranged us.

Hausa fulani yoruba oligarchy and conspirators, evil people, They even spoke to devil Gowon, what do you expect from devil like him and the rest of animals that killed children G-d.

We Biafrans exiled from our homeland shall return and we shall take what is rightfully ours.

My dad was 1 year old when he was evacuated to principle sao tome today we are stateless cos we are Biafrans.

We existed before the Evil slave trade called nigeria.

and we shall return you all need to run and leave our land.

God bless you for doing this, a country that does not offer history as a subject can never raise patriotic citizens. It is a damn shame that we are afraid of truth in our country. When I came to college here in the US, history was and is a must for all undergrads; wake up Nigeria.

The true happiness of a country is for the leaders/ parties to have clear conscience and being useful for humanity.

Only a dingbats says its the yoruba, igbo or hausa people that leads Nigeria astray. Forgeting that we are Nigerian and not Igbo-nians,Hausa-nians, Yoruba-nians. We are NIGERIANS.

If the only conclusion anyone pick from this video is that....#dingbats and you are the problem.

Its a pity that we are like this in Nigeria. Only less than 15 comments in this post, but Miley goes topless and there is greater than 200 post. I can assure you that Miley knows a couple of things about the history of her country, but ask a Nigerian of same age and you would be suprised thqt they know nothing about our history. This is a good opportunity to know our history, so we can find a way forward by using past mistakes. No country has it perfect from the scratch, but we can use it to move our country forward. So many unnecessary things, nepotism, tribalism, greed, corruption etc can all be abolished if we can have one voice. We should all advocate for history class in form of social studies, civic education for all schools in Nigeria like in the way it was in the past. Atleast all will know their rights and be knowledgeable when casting their votes.
