The Minister of Health, Prof. Onyebuchi Chukwu, has said that
Nigeria is now at risk of contacting the deadly Ebola virus which has
been spreading across neighboring West African countries in recent
times. The virus which first broke out in Guinea in January this year, is
said to have no vaccine at the moment and has killed a total of 87
people with 137 cases reported since the outbreak.

-It is transmitted by direct contact with infected blood or body fluid or via reuse of infested hospital injections

eating of fruits without washing, as well as non consumption of fruits
that have been eaten by bats

Is anyone not wondering why this Ebola virus is showing up now that it looks like Africa is rising again with populations and economic growth rates that will dwarf the West in the next 50 years? Some American Scientists have been pushing to use Ebola to reduce the world's population for years. It killed scientists in germany and russia in the ninties. These ppl were white and, they were actually working on a vaccine for the virus.
It is not that it affects only africans but it's major vector which is d fruit bat resides mainly in this region. Add this to poor hygiene and it makes a recipe for disaster. Fruit licked or eatin by d bat can be picked up by villagers who normally would not wash before eating. It does not have d potential to spread like hiv cause of its short incubation and high mortality. This helps prevent spread as d infected is to ill to travel and symptoms are easily spotted so the infected are quickly quarantined.
