What exactly is the role of a Special Assistant. I have heard of Special Advisor but assistants...........now does that mean they are assistants to the advisors. What is GJ doing and surely, he can call the Governor to task or the voters of the state. Share stupidity if you ask me. Any excuse to ensure their friends and family benefit from the cake. 9ja would never change.

Uche Ogbuagu: (with thick igbo accent) you dont know who hiam? I am Uche Ogbuagu, the one and only chief comedian of the state?

Oyinbo man: Oh really, is that one of your nicknames or something?

Uche Ogbuagu: Nna mein, what do you mean by that, i was giving this post by the governor of this state. All other comedians are under me

Oyinbo man: Thats quite a remarkable thing (looking quite puzzled). So can you tell me a joke or something

Uche Ogbuagu: Nna, thats beyond my state duties. But i do "pay as you go" by the side. If you drop $2000 i can tell you something na, na, na...

Na this Owerri we dey, make we dey sleep dey wake up, we go see as this business wan end.

Like what is the idea behind all this? It's just a dried up joke, honestly. Well, let me just be looking. People wanted Ohakim out (and rightly too), but now that Rochas is in, he decides to start off on a very ridiculous note. Lemme just hold my peace and see how this all pans out. I am still hoping i will soon wake up and discover that this whole SSA &SA business is just a product of my malaria-induced sleep!

HMMM some of the anonymouS who post comments here dont really think or do some research before they jump into conclusion and i bet most of you saying these dont know Rochas Okorocha before he became gov. for ur little minds, he has built schools in kano n imo state for everyone and anyone and the school fees are next to nothing.he buys the books for the students and there is lunch for both teachers and students.some of those in the university are on his payroll. he has a foundation that helps the poor, sick or unemployed. all this have taken place way back in the 90s.i grew up in the north and his name is known far and wide for all the good gestures.so if he creates jobs for people who dont have its none of ur business atleast he didnt employ some of ur thieving uncles or aunt who have amassed wealth for their 10th generation n are still stealing.
someone takes out his time to creat job opportunities where there arent and typical of human beings, we talk n criticize so would u rather prefer he didint like his predecessors?
if imo state treasury cant pay then he can foot the bills from his pocket,Rochas Okorocha isnt hungry nor greedy like the rest neither is he from poverty stricken home.
all ye ANONYMOUS, do some reasonable research before you blab blindly......mschewwwwww.

Most people whose comments I see here are quite eager to condemn or ridicule, as are most Nigerians (not that I blame you). I'd prefer to observe and see what comes next. Of interest to me is that most groups here are committees. Government has always run with committees and I can't imagine that all these people will command capital budgets. It is safe to wait and see how things develop from here on. If they fail, we move on to the next term/administrato. That has always been the case. If they succeed, all these critics will have eggs on their faces. As for the man who said that this is why an Igbo Man will never be President of Nigeria, apart from telling you boldly that you are an arsehole bigot(no apologies), I also say, watch and see!

the white enchantress said...

thaks alot nnamdi, i support that insult you throw at dat fool. we ibo people are the architect of our forwardness in national politics. how can a full grown man or fool rather, standup and say that?why would you?i cast every spirit of evil words and predictions from such fool and his likes against the ibo tribe and for that reason you and you alone will remain backward in all you do....mmsschewwww.. ewu kporo onwe ya mmadu.
