Photos: 'Everyone was traumatized and victimized' Man recollects Boko Haram brutal attacks in Borno State in 2011

Zannah Lawan Ajumi, a resident of Maiduguri, Borno State takes us down memory lane to the time Boko Haram terrorists were having a field day in Borno State. His Facebook post and photos taken in 2011 after the cut...

Memories
This pictures were taken on 12 July 2011. Everyone was traumatized and Victimized by the Boko Haram. People were migrating to various Safer places. I can Remember my neighbours migrate to KANO, WUDIL, KADUNA, ABUJA, PATASKUM and Some to Damaturu, we were left alone and still alive. When Transport fare from Maiduguri to Damuturu cost over N5000, it was even rare to find saloon cars only Trucks and Lorries are used for mass transit. All the Shops and Markets were closed, we trek for more than kilometers to find food stuffs for shelter.

Everywhere is as silent as grave by both Noon and Night hours, all we can here is gun shots.
>> The Times of no one knows who is who.
>> The times of nothing like the Civilian Joint Task Force CJTF
>> The times when there is an attack in your Vicinity. Everyone migrates to some place safe for their life.
>> The times when Villages are peaceful.
>> The times when no one stays for long duration in Majalis.
>> The times when Maiduguri is called Afghanistan.
>> The times no one wears Black or Combat trousers. Alhamdulillah. Now we are experiencing peace in our state. May He absolutely Restore peace in our dear state. May He Guide and Protect our Nigerian Army to Demolish those lunatics"

My dear your place is now a den or terrorist even if the soldiers finish boko harams which they will not another terrorist group will come out because its part of una.
For this peace to come back again they should divide Nigeria an give hausas there own Islamic state.
For now this is just genesis.

#sad indeed

Most of us in the South can't really understand what these people went through in the hands of Boko Haram between 2010-2014. It was a nightmare...Soldiers rarely came to the rescue of the people back then so Boko Haram terrorists had a field day, and kept multiplying and gaining territories. That's why they came out in millions to vote for Buhari...cos they knew he would understand them better and help them. Now that Boko Haram is almost out of the way, we need Buhari to hear the cry of the rest of Nigerians...The country is in a bad state right now...no fuel, no light, economy is bad. Buhari and his Ministers needs to act fast.

I say ameen as I wept. I sobered down my throat, fell the unease recorded, the simile, the prayers, the struggles and the unyielding strength (internal and external) of the Nigerian Army, the JTF, and all involved. I pray that we all (Nigerian/the world) experience peace internally and externally.

If a man cannot sleep for more than a week, PA chance he had a nap of 30min, he will surely be thankful, pls be considerate in your comment and thank God for every second you live without itches. Life is indeed not a bed of roses.
