I'm in the US, yay! lol. I left Nigeria Monday night, got here on Tuesday and been sleeping since I got here. The trip was so exhausting. I'm currently at my older sister's place in San Antonio, Texas. She lives here with her husband. Haven't seen her in almost three years..so excited!
I'll be going to Las Vegas, Miami, LA and DC in the coming days...so if there are any LIB readers in these cities, please holla at your girl (via email), let's hang out. I'm here for just two weeks, so let's get it popping...:-)
Though I'm here to relax, I will definitely be updating my blog...will find the time. I can't abandon you guys, love you too much! Kisses!!!

People brag about going to Africa, Asia, and the Americas all the time. You'll prob need to cut it down to 3 places to enjoy yourself, if not you'll be so tired from flying around, and TSA doesnt make traveling experience great!
Look at it, you are in San antonio, say you spend 3-4 days there, then go to LA (3hrs flight nonstop), you need at least 2 days to see a little, then say you take a flt from there to Vegas (45mins). You need at least 2-3 days to waka in Vegas. Then you'll now fly from Vegas to Miami (5 hrs flight nonstop). You need at least 2 days in Miami. Then you'll now fly from Miami to DC (like 2 and a half hours flight). You'll spend 2 days there, and there you have it 2 weeks done! Talk about tiring love.
You've 2 years visa, drop DC from the itinerary, and save it for a future trip end of the year or late summer. Then you can do DC, NYC and maybe Chicago too.
Lol wow that's one heck of an itinerary for 2 weeks, I highly doubt you'll be getting any rest. Some of those are 6-7 hour flights.
U weren't specific on the dates you'll be in these cities.

There must be something wrong with Nigerians to the point that you are so damn jealous of others' success.
Yes, Linda traveling to America is an Achievement! Yes I said it. Everywhere else in the world traveling is a big deal but to Nigerians "oh gal, what's the big deal in that"? Get the fuck out of here. I live in Canada and the way my colleagues talk about traveling. I am going here, I am traveling there. Even myself. I get very excited when I'm travelling, whether to Nigeria, England, Ireland, even when I went to Atlanta that is just a few hours flight from where I live. People ghave travel blogs showing their local and international travels. Friends and colleague update their facebook regularly with pics collected from their travels. But when a Nigerian does it the attitude becomes- oh she's a bush girl, she's bragging. How does telling her blog readers mean she is bragging? She is excited. Even if she bragged why not? I see nothing wrong with being happy with your achievement.
Here in canada, when people retire- guess what their #1 dream to do is? TRAVEL!!!! Not everyone can travel due to financial and familial commitments. In fact I think the stats show that only 60% of Canadians have a passport. FOr Americans the number is 37%. In a country of 300 million only 35% even have passport to travel. Traveling is a big deal.
For those Nigerians in Nigeria who thinks that linda is soooo bush, you are actually the ones who are bush. You feel that insulting her will somehow heighten your class or your ajebota status. News flash: As a Nigerian already living in Canada most of my life, your need to diminish linda's success actually shows that YOU are the one who is bush with bad belle syndrome. It's quite pathetic.
Me and my girls( we are all from diff races) are planning a trip to the US or Caribbean this summer (USA that we have all already been to). Chei, the way we have been talking about this trip I'm sure some of you will say we're "bush" lol. GTFOH. Traveling is wonderful and any reasonable person would be excited to do it.
