Photo: Enugu police arrest member of a robbery and car-snatching gang after a shootout, recovers stolen car

6 members of a robbery and car-snatching gang engaged operatives of Enugu State Police Command in a shoot out along Enugu/Port Harcourt road. One of the suspects identified as Henry Ifeanyi Odo was arrested with charms at the end of the shoot out. Below is the statement issued today by the Command: 
 
"A car snatching/armed Robbery victim identified as one Okechukwu Atuegbu resident in Port Harcourt Rivers state has showered praises on the Nigeria police Force Enugu state command over their swift answer to distress call which led to the recovery of his snatched/Robbed Cars as well as arresting one of the gang member who is now helping the operatives in their investigations,

It was gathered that the victim on 16/4/16 at about 2pm at independence layout axis of the state as he came to briefly see his in-law from Port Harcourt and to drop his kids at their Enugu based school,were waylaid by a group of armed men numbering about five already laying siege against him with an alleged snatched peugeot 504 car.

It was further gathered that the gun men closed him up and snatched his Toyota Lexus car white in colour with registration number Rivers NCH 907 ST and headed towards Enugu/Portharcourt Express road Enugu and based on Distress call raised Police operatives of Enugu command swung into action and encountered the hoodlums at Enugu/Portharcourt Express way and after a shoot out with the hoodlums recovered the snatched/stolen toyota lexus and arresting one of the suspects identified as Henry Ifeanyi Odo with charms.Suspect is now is helping the police in their investigations which has commenced in full scale."

My home town Enugu is turning into something else.
stealing of cars is too much now.
There even stole one on Easter Sunday in my church.
Even at this hardship people are stealing the hard money you work for.

I think this suspect was among the people that snatched my Toyota Avalon(wine red color) with registration number ENUGU ENU 949 GT on the 1st of April 2016 at CEKON filling station Artisan Ogui RD Enugu at about 3pm.
i am pleading with the police to interrogate him very well to see if he will confess to that
