President Jonathan has asked president-elect Buhari not to single out his administration for any probe his administration may carry out when he assumes power. Speaking during the valedictory session of the Federal Executive Council in Abuja today May 27th, Pres. Jonathan said those who are calling for probe should also demand for probe on how oil wells were allocated in past administrations. (I.e T.Y Danjuma..lol). Recall the Former Defence Minister last week called on Gen Buhari to probe the GEJ administration when he assumes power.
"Some people are even calling for the probe of the government, but I think in Nigeria, there are a lot of many things that will be probed, very many things, even debts owed by states and debts owed by this country from 1960 up to this time. They say it is Jonathan's administration that owes these debts. I believe that anybody that is coming for probe must also ensure that this probe is extended beyond the Jonathan administration. Otherwise, to me, it will be witch-hunt. If we are very sincere, it is not only the Jonathan administration that should be probed." he said.

Debt was wiped off and money left in Reserve when OBJ was leaving govt. Jonathan was like a kid in a candy store with corruption and so much spending. He wasn't the right man to lead Nigeria. So corrupt he wouldn't even declare his assets. Assigning huge budget for food and flight. Spending money on independence day celebration (didnt he borrow for this aswell), buying new presidential jets whilst depleting the federal reserve. Wouldnt tackle corruption- what happened to MR Yakubu who stole N33billion of the police pension fund in 2013 he was given an option of 2 yrs prison or pay N250,000 and walk away, yet Mr Jonathan looked the other way whilst all this was going on. You know they are all in it together. What about the missing (more than N20b unreconciled fund from NNPC). The list goes on. And this man doesn't want to be probed.
