Beauty of the day: Agbani Darego

She is the most beautiful black African I have ever seen.
My opinion. You don't have to agree...:-)

yes she is beautiful, but....

Linda has a "beauty of the day" light skinned streak for so long, until people complained.
now the darker beauties just look like oyinbos dipped in chocolate.
hmmmmmm....

she is beautiful sha, but Linda, don't think we aren't noticing!

I agree but only in the context 'used to'...............she needs to eat for 3 months non stop to reclaim that.
Fiercely!

She's okay. I saw her last year and was surprised at how ordinary she looked. The exceptional thing about her, are her cheek bones.

Where? Where is beauty? I don't see it. What is beauty? Visual experience? Physical attractiveness? Uncommon characteristics / features? Face? Projection? Seductiveness? What is the definition of beauty? Are there objective standards of beauty? Beauty is a matter of taste, interpretation or perception. Beauty is in the heart.

Ultra blah blah you're not funny. Since we're making generalizations, most mixed race girls are broke chicks from the wrong side of the tracks. Usually its the underclass who marry oyinbo so ofcourse your fellow gutter dwellers have ashy skin. Now that you've scraped together to buy a lap top (clap for yourself), expand your tiny mind and see the beauty of black skin. See it and envy because in 20 seconds your face will crack into wrinkles and craters. You don't last, we do.

Agbani is beautiful but I have seen far more beautiful women in Nigeria than her- the real Nigerian beauties are those you don't get to see in the media- go the middle belt parts of the country and you will be blown away by the beauty of wome there or to the south-east of nigeria where women are so beautiful with gorgeous skin and hair or to the north where there are natural beauties with slender figures- in short, we have beautiful women all over nigeria!

LMAO...Black is beautiful took the words right out of my mouth.

@black is beautiful..

YOU ARE SO ON POINT!!

@BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL. Pls dear stop deciving dark skinned girls that they will not have wrinkles, if they can have ASHY SKIN then why not wrinkles. Meanwhile agbani looks too slim in this picture.

There is absolutely nothing special about this girl.
She is very ordinary looking and even for a model has no WOW factor.
being skinny (or starving herself) has only made it worse.

When do we learn to appreciate our own!
Agbani is the ONLY black African Miss World...lets appreciate her and what she's achieved!!!
Would love to hear and see more from her though..

no linda i'm serious. i've seen ur pictures of wen u were younger and u looked amazing. agbani has travelled far and wide and now she's "tushed up" a bit so she looks ok, same with omowunmi, oluchi, and co. look at all the comments..she's average.i think u r prettier than her.i am being honest..u know i always say my mind.if u had won mbgn, who knows, people will say u r the next bianca ojukwu *wink*.babes don't underestimate urself, just go out more and "network"..lol

BEAUTY IS REALLY AN ENIGMA TO ME...CAUCASIANS CLAIM THEY ARE THE STANDARD OF BEAUTY...YET THEY SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN TANNING SALONS TRYING TO GET DARKER..ON THE OTHER HAND SOME PEOPLE OF AFRICAN ANCESTRY SPEND THOUSANDS ON WHITENING CREAMS AND MELANIN TREATMENTS TO APPEAR LIGHTER SKINNED...WHAT EXACTLY IS GOING ON??? I PERSONALLY THINK BEAUTY IS SUBJECTIVE...WHATEVER ONE DEFINES AS BEAUTY IS WHAT IT IS!!!
AGBANI IS A TALL NATURAL DARK AFRICAN BEAUTY..I LIKE THE FACT THAT SHE HAS UNDERSTATED LOOKS, AND....HER HEIGHT GOES A LONG WAY IN MAKING HER LOOK MORE STRIKING..IF SHE RETAINS HER NATURAL COLOR SHE WILL LOOK YOUNG FOR A VERY LONG TIME "BLACK DON'T CRACK."

Linda, network more *wink*

@Nigerian Film and TV Addict ... Erm,..look here,... Your January 25, 2011 6:14 PM and January 26, 2011 11:41 AM comments have been brought to my attention. From this day forward, consider your footsteps and comments watched and scrutinized for subliminal messages (directed at Linda Ikeji). Hey, this is not Match.com or PlentyOfFish.com ... Linda is mine.

abeg, let's celebrate our diversity instead of picking ourselves apart. yes, beauty get levels and one man's meat can be another man's poison but when we boil it all down, we are all God's creatures and everything He makes is beautiful! personally, i would take Alek Wek over Agbani Darego anyday because Alek is STRIKING! But that's me, I prefer striking to conventional beauty!
