You are not far from the truth! The man should have left in 1973 or latest by early 1975. But because of the loot or power he said 1975 was no longer visible for handing over. What a great chance he missed that time to lay a solid transitional tradition for the nation. He should continues to pray for Nigeria so that sanity will reign in the polity again.
