Boko Haram leader, Shekau releases new video, claims he's "in a happy state, good health, and in safety"
Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau released a new video message in which he denied a claim by the Nigerian Army that he seriously injured in air strike.
The military said that Shekau had been badly injured last month in an air raid in which dozens of the Islamist group's commanders were killed. In the 40-minute video, Shekau spoke in Arabic, Hausa and Kanuri language, saying:

This video is a clear evidence of the fact that boko haram has international sponsors(especially foreign governments) who are willing to spend lavishly on technology to further the course of boko haram in Nigeria cos one way or the other it benefits or will benefit them.
In my own understanding,the guy in this video is not the last 'shekau' that was killed during former president Jonathan's regime, they just look alike and have certain facial features in common. This 'shekau' clearly has thicker, discoloured lips which the last one didn't have.
I believe strongly that the last 'shekau' was killed by our soldiers in 2014. Another question, why did it take 2 whole years for 'shekau' to resurface? My answer: They had to find someone who had the most similar resemblance to the last 'shekau' and then use advanced technology to make him look more alike. They also had to train him to be 'brutal' and learn Arabic, Hausa and Kanuri.

I can swear with my life that this guy is not in sambisa forest as claimed. His likely location includes the following : Saudi Arabia embassy,any of the northern states government house, any of the Northern emirs house, etc. The truth about boko haram will never be known.
