Organizers of the annual CBN Cashless CardExpo Africa, is inviting nominations for its 16th Annual CardExpo Awards 2016

Intermarc Consulting, the organizer of the annual CBN Cashless CardExpo Africa, is inviting nominations for its 16th Annual CardExpo Awards 2016. The 2016 Awards and Dinner Ceremony will play host to top executives of the Retail Payment and eCommerce industries. It will take place on Thursday 14th June, 2016 at Eko-Hotel & Suite, Victoria Island Lagos. This spectacular evening presents an opportunity to celebrate and stakeholders in the Industry.

During the industry awards ceremony a member of the audience will drive home a brand new KIA RIO if his/her attendance’s voucher is picked at the lucky dip plus up to N1,000,0000 (One Million Naira) in shopping vouchers available for lucky winners.

We write to invite you to nominate organizations and agencies for the Annual CardExpo Award 2016. We are seeking nominations for the best and brightest ideas in the retail payment and eCommerce space that represents the propellants and the spirit behind each award and citation to be presented.

Criteria for the Award

CardExpo Awards 2016 will recognize organizations for their innovative contributions and commitment to driving the cashless policy of the CBN, championing eCommerce advancement and providing solutions for everyday use.  This includes:

·         Payment Innovation of the Year

·         eCommerce Company of the Year

·         Best eCommerce Advert

·         Best eCommerce Logistics Services Provider

·         Best Cashless Merchant

·         Most Efficient eRevenue Service

·         Best Electronic Identity Capture Driver

·         Best Cashless Driver (Education)

·         Best Cashless Merchant (Utility)

Nomination Process

The general public, organisations and employees or groups of employees may nominate organisations and agencies by visiting the CardExpo website and filling the nomination forms as from March 14th, 2016 – April 30th, 2016.

Voting Process

Voting process starts from May 2nd, 2016 and ends May 31th, 2016. This process will be verified by Ernest & Young auditing firm.

Awards Presentation and Ceremony

Award plaques will be presented to recipients at the CardExpo Award and Dinner Night on Thursday 14th June, 2016 at Eko-Hotel & Suite, Victoria Island Lagos.
