The German city of Bonn has installed a meter to tax prostitutes for soliciting on its streets at a rate of six euros (£5.30; $8.70) per night.
But a prostitutes' rights activist said the scheme amounted to double taxation. Prostitutes are expected to pay the flat rate, regardless of earnings. The machine, which looks like an ordinary parking meter, has been installed in an industrial area near the city centre which favoured by prostitutes and their clients.

Prostitution in Germany is fast like a normal jobs!They pay all taxes.eg,retirement insurance and all necessary insurances,which a normal workers pay!Is a big business,they even advertise in newspapers!some are what we called ARISTO's in naija,some has brothel and some are doing it illegally!Hamburg is the capital of prostitution in germany..yeah Bonn authority want to scare them from illegal night prostitution on the street,so meter will snap their pics,if they fail to remit the stipulated tax,they may face strict sanctions.
