The accident occurred yesterday Wednesday August 31 at Lambar Zango village on the Kaduna-Zaria express road when the ambassador’s jeep veered off and ran into a moving trailer. There were three occupants in the car, the ambassador died on his way to the hospital, the other two, his driver and another man, are receiving treatment at the hospital.
Late Pindar was the recently embattled deputy gubernatorial candidate of PDP in Borno State to Mohammed Goni. He was 56years old. May his soul rest in peace..amen.

OMG I was going to Zaria yesterday to see a family friend for the eid celebrations.We saw this jeep. a brand new toyota highlander.The seats were literally popping out of the jeep.so many hausa men were in the bush looking for occupants of the vehicle.My husband and i were saying it would be a miracle for anyone to come out alive.Wow only yesterday evening and now reading this on linda's blog.You too much my dear.May his soul rest in perfect peace.But this was a clear case of overspeeding. Men in power with the way they drive,escorts and all.They just need to be cautious behind the steering especially tell their drivers to take it easy.

Please you need 2 b careful with what you say. this man's car was crashed because another car trying to dodge a pothole slammed into his jeep, pushing his car to a truck.

This is really sad for the family. But how can his "jeep veered off and ran into a moving trailer"? except the driver slept off on the steering? Because these jeeps are built for rough terrain and they don't just 'veer' off suddenly.

Some of us just write crap sha, if you did not witness the accident, why assume the worst? So is it the poor man who is cautious when he drives?

The thing is that if we all brought our tithes (notice I didn't say 'pay' because you don't pay it - you give it of your own volition in obedience to a command from God) and other gifts generously, there WOULDN'T be need for churches to charge school fees at all! See Acts 4:32-34 for an illustration of how everyone's contribution resulted in everyone's abundance.
On school fees, we only need to benchmark Nigerian private uni fees to those of similar quality around the world and we'll find out that what these Nigerian institutions charge is actually quite fair. The reason they seem so horrendously high is because we are comparing them to the ridiculously heavily subsidised fees in government universities. Federal and state universities have become an impossible burden and government desperately wants to reduce its subsidy of them. If these subsidies are removed completely we'll find that the real cost of federal universities will be very similar to those charged by the religious institutions.
Finally and sadly, tertiary education is not a fundamental human right like primary eduction. That's why even in the US and the UK, it is not free. The students are extended loans but it is NOT free or even cheap! As at today, average uni fees for home students in the UK is 6k pounds which converts to N1.5m per annum - far less than what private institutions are paying in Nigeria (and bearing in mind that in Nigeria you provide your own electricity, water, security, even roads!).
In short we should be hailing these church institutions for being as courageous for establishing ventures in Nigeria which they cannot profit from (or even break even) in at least 10years!

Overspeeding, drunk driving, are two major issues that needs to be talked about in Nigeria.
You are talking about a country with bad roads, and breaking traffic lights(if they are any) yet people still think it's time to race each other on those bad roads.
I know this man. He will be sorely missed by all that know him. He was known to be kind. Please respect the dead, for those who seem to think they know what happened even though they didnt witness the accident occur, it is in bad taste to speak so inappropriately of the dead.
