Actors that understood English!!!!I would recommend English proficiency class for most of the actors in Nollywood. You gotta understand English language first to be able to act in any Nollywood English movie production.

why is the Blessing shouting..is she sure she is classy..her characters seem more polished than her..

Uhhm ok?? I actually thought this was a trailer for the movie. Not a bunch of ppl talking.
But goodluck to them and the movie :)

Yet Blessing herself cant speak good eloquent english - she cant express herself well.

all this one na talk. The movie should come out first so the audience can judge for themselves.

They went overboard especially Stella. The E! channel does the same thing with their behind the scenes interviews but the actors do not carry on half as long, they use what is called sound bites to get the audience's interest. Let's hope the hype meets up with the quality of the film. Stella Damasus was a little full of herself, so all the Nollywood films that have been excellent that we've all understood where in Latin? Abeg, carry go!

Do Not Pat Yourself So Loudly On The Back, Let Others Do It For You! Even Teco the director was reserved in his comments as well as the very smart Kalu Ikeagwu but Blessing and Stella were just over the top.

I like the setting of this film. It looks like they put in some thought.

Blessing and Stella were saying a whole lot eh? Being spiteful and all. We know how terrible a lot of our movies are but they have to grateful that they all started from there.

No one would have known who Stella was if she wasn't usually a widow or crying 98% of the time in her movies. Be grateful.

Well, the movie'd better be amazing otherwise I'm sure Linda's tough crowd would be back in full force to lambaste them with a capital L.
I am looking forward to seeing the masterpiece.

anon 5.11 PM pls I second that seriously, what is with all this pomposity, blessing or woteva u call ursefl, REAL talent doesnt have to blow its own trumpet. I love the fact that they used new talent, but all this polished english thing they are yarning, it seems that they are taking digs @ ppl. Thats not very classy at all. Pocket ur pomposity abeg make we hear word. let your movie speak for itself.

i love what i'm seeing these days in nollywood, this is so classy..and who says Blessing isnt classy, pls think again, it takes a classy person to see class, and what i just saw is an embodiment of class. i have met the lady, she is intelligent, smart and speaks very good English, or is it because she spoke pidgin in the footage, abeg, cool down the lady is soo down to earth and beautiful, and i love her,and whats wrong if they blow their trumpet. Blessing, Stella and the crew carry go!

All of you people on here complaining that Blessing and Stella are too pompous I am sure are the same ppl that commented on the former post Linda had on here about the crazy names of nollywood movies and how rubbish the acting is. They are just voicing what we nigerians have been saying about the lack of talent, inspiration and class that most nollywood movies have. They are actually trying to change it. Human beings can never be pleased.

I gave up on nollywood a long time ago but this movie I will definitely be checking out

YES! finally got around to watching this 12 minute clip. i thought it was the trailer too, but....I've been inspired! every time I go on youtube to watch a Nigerian movie, it's usually after 20 minutes that i catch myself falling asleep or i click out because the acting, styling, the story, or the sound is so poor that you cannot continue on any longer. I love what they said about not selling faces, but selling talent. THIS IS ONE OF NOLLYWOOD'S BIGGEST FLAWS! they just get those ugly movie covers and slap all the faces of the cast with their horrible facial expressions. it's so cringe worthy.
I am loving the cast, and I've been keeping tabs on Chelsea Eze and I love where her career is going. Kudos to you.
and is the Blessing Egbe lady the same one that starred in the movie "After the Vow" with Stephanie Okereke? even though the movie was short, it was short and sweet and i really enjoyed it. the story line was good, and i thought she did an excellent job (that is, if that is her).
I see Stella and Blessing were doing some dissing though, not cool, although kinda funny too. but Stella, you can't even deny that you were part of what you are accusing others of doing. you were also a face being used to sell where you cried most of the time, haba! I understand you needed a challenge, but don't get too cocky. the same reason why Clems Ohameze claims he left Nollywood. 1) he wasn't even that good of an actor and he contributed to the rubbish he claims Nollywood churns out nowdays, so haba. some people should think before the speak.
Will be looking out for this one. and Linda, since you claim you don't watch Nollywood movies, maybe you can start with this one. :)

and since Mercy supposedly is gonna quit acting after her wedding....well, there are plenty of new places to take your spot, so you won't be missed that much.

this gives me hope that there are still some people that care about Nollywood instead of making a quit profit!

I loved it and am looking forward to watching the actual movie.
I don't see what is pompous about what is being said, there are people like tonto and mercy who are great actresses but have a very poor command of the language ... I will add Oge Okoye to that. Those three often say "AKS" instead of "Ask" and the "C" turns into a "Z" and it is so annoying!!! simple word like "Nice" turn into "Nize" and they sprinkle a weird accent that is neither Brit nor American leaving you confused and embarrassed. Stephanie Okereke used to dive there too; I prefer people who speak properly and keep their nigerian accent like Nse, Uche or Genny... Seriously! ( And I'm not even Nigerian...)

na wa for nigerians oh, we complain of how badly spoken our actors are, of how terrible their craft is, we have begged and begged for a change, now there is a change and we are abusing the very people who are trying to change...do you want people to tell it the way it is or sweet coat it, please i like what they have done, they have hit the nail on the head and said it out loud and i second it, i just hope the movie matches up and if it does, trust me all others will sit up...at the end of the day it will only encourage others to speak well or learn their craft...luvvvv you all

Blessing should just have shut up ooo and let the actors do the talking.. what's with all the shouting (i understand her excitement though)
looking forward to seeing the movie

Blessing kept on about Nigerian actors who speak good English- but I thought her own English was appalling. That said, I love Chelsea Eze, who I think will be a star to watch out for and also Ujeke as well. Kalu Ikweagu, fantastic as usual- one of the real talents of Nollywood. Really though, Nollywood stars should take voice lessons (not to speak with a British or American accent but in how to express themselves naturally and confidently without going OTT).

badbelle people, why cant you just leave this people alone to express thmselves, if they say they wanted people who can speak english, why is such a big deal and why all the attacks on blessing and stella, tell me which bad english did any of them speak, they all sounded very intelligent and bold to me. the people i watched it with all loved it and commended their efforts in trying to showcase the classy nigerian actors. and here you are abusing these good ladies who speak wee with no accents at all abi dem send una to abuse them, im suspecting the likes of stepanie okereke, tonto dike, uche jombo, susan perters, ini edo, chiege alu something, and the rest who cant expess themselves, i can understand their anger sha,,lol
