This Azuka sef, doesn't she remember that she's supposed to be covering the stories not interjecting herself into them? This is the second time in my recent memories that I've heard of her altercations with people she covers... I remember her getting into Facebook battles with Joan Okorodudu. The girl herself has thuggish ways.

As a faithful reader of ThisDay, I know for a fact this Azuka chick has a serious problem with the entire Mo'Hits crew and a needlessly lofty opinion of herself, her qualifications (or lack of) and her voice...er...pen. She very rarely writes objective pieces n anyone or anything and has in fact been caught telling a lie or too or simply exaggerating. Her stuff should be in the opinion columns. I think she fancies she's freaking editor of Vogue or something. That said, if D'banj really did send thugs after her, I suspect there's more to the story than what she's saying. Babe is a talentless, nasty piece of work. And she has problems with EVERYONE.

I have read some of her pieces on the mo hits crew and they were very uncomplimentary and unprofessional. However, I read her column today as she heaped praise upon praise on Dbanj's performance which is quite unlike her so I am confused. I was at an event where Dbanj featured in and her review was so biased and anti Dbanj/Mohits crew was so nauseauting.
By the way, I hope she reads this. I have been reading her articles since early 2002 or is it 2001 where she was profiling people like Kenneth Odogwu, Okoya Thomas etc. Her performance has really deteriotated over the years. Many people I know her compare her with Lanre Alfred and that is not a compliment as she started with so much promise. I hope she will retrace her steps and stay true to her craft.

I don't know this lady and I have not met her physically, but I think she is just being hated for nothing... I have added her up and I hope she accepts my friend request. I read this Azuka's girl story on D'banj's show on page 17 of this Day newspaper yesterday, 16th October and there was no negative comment or reference to what happened to D'banj and his thugs in Kenya. @ Joseph & Helen J - I qualified my own statements. I started reading the lady's articles about 2000 or 2001 and this was long before there was a popular Dbanj. However, I would suggest that you read some of the other articles on mo hits crew, wande coal and not judge her on saturday's article (Oct 16). My suspicion is that she probably got a sanction for her previous article on Dbanj (Oct 9) which oozed no class at all and clearly showed that she was just taking advantage of her pen to malign someone else. I also thought she did the same thing with Toni Payne and Joan Okorodudu and its unbecoming of a "successful" journalist. My advice is free and she can decide to accept or reject it.

I dunno how true the dbanj+ thugs story is but just today,Dbanj threatened to beat up Clarence Peters for charging him 3M for his scapegoat. According to twitter updates frm eye witnesses,Dbanj couldn't comprehend why a 'small boy' like Clarence could have the nerve to charge him so much because as far as he's concerned Clarence should be grateful,that 'he made Dj Tee and when Dj Tee got too big,his career died and Clarence is a nobody.
