Going back to my old school...

I left my secondary school, Lagos Anglican Girls Grammar School, in 1997. Thirteen years later, I was back there...to talk to the students and give them free copies of my book.
I want to (eventually) embark on a motivational/book tour of secondary schools in Nigeria, and decided to start with my alma mater. It was a great experience.

Oh my goddness, Linda you really took me back to LAGGS, God bless your heart for it. All that stress we went through and now they are finally allowing the girls to braid their hair!!! My, how things change:) Linda, do you remember when Mrs Labode and Mrs Akinto suspended a group of us for taking pictures on the school premises indefinately...girl, I still crack up til this day when I remember that day..It was you, me, Affiong, Rosalyn and chinwe. That school was very strict back then and thank God for it beacuse the really made us what we are...

hi linda. its chinedu ochonogor. i have to concur with what nnebuihe said. when i was reading the list of people that were suspended by ms akinto and mrs labode i must say i laughed my head off. it still seems like yesterday though we graduated 13 odd yrs ago. thanks for going there and i see u wore a lovely dress to match the school colour as there were slight shades of purple. good work girl.
