Perhaps when you graduated you deliberately walked pass one of them without greeting just to prove that they no longer have control over you. You need to be educated here that Thanks giving to God should not be misconstrued as ingratitude to doctors please. Your calling as a doctor is a profession with ethics which you must abide by as a professional. Don't contend with God

the fact is.. patients pay hospital bills, not necessarily the doctor... it doesnt take only a doctor for a surgery to b done...there are anesthetics, scrub nurses, medical assistants etc...excluding the anesthetic agents, oxygen etc... so if a patient should decide to nice to their doctors thats a good thing...but dont assume he gets the surgery money...u can as well go for the surgery at the church.

I spend hours lecturing, standing on my feet, teaching medical students so that they can be good doctors.so they will not go out there to kill patients. So that they can go the extra mile to see that every patient that is brought to them goes back alive. and Well. I supervise their work, painstakingly consulting as well as teaching. Surgery is very tedious. But human life is invaluable. Every human life is special. There can NEVER be another like that one. Ever again. So a doctor treats each patient as an invaluable specimen. If that patient dies, there can never ever be another life like that one-till the world ends.! So we teach our students to battle. Battle for every life that is placed into their hands.
So..These medical students graduate. As doctors After 7 or 8 tedious years of teaching. And they go to church-to give thanks to God. And these doctors also give gifts to the Pastor. Forgetting that whosoever you have become in this life,... it is because somebody taught you! Obinna, I TAUGHT YOU!. TO SAVE LIVES.

Well in my own opinion , i really dont see why the surgeon has to be on the edge about thanksgiving in the church for a job he did. before u guys think about this thoughtful words from Mr Surgeon, please consider these few points: 1. is the surgery being done voluntarily? 2. Is that the nature of his work? 3. Is he a native doctor that would be expecting Goat or orange sacrifice later? 4. Do surgeons not charge bills for the medical expertise or do surgeons operate patients for free.? Because to me, their medical bills has already paid for the praises and thanksgiving this reader believe is due to surgeons but if because of personal praises, the surgeon refuse to do his work, then let God and his conscience be the judge of that.
