Nigerians blame Sunday Oliseh for Nigeria's failure to qualify for AFCON 2017

The Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to qualify for AFCON 2017 after losing to Egypt last night and Nigerians on Twitter were quick to blame Sunday Oliseh. With one twitter user calling him an IT student when Nigeria had 'professional' and 'chartered' coaches to choose from. See more tweets after the cut.

I share their views abeg. That Oliseh was a square peg in round hole.He spoilt our chances of qualifying & left.Siasia couldn't have done magic in such a short notice.
Well now that their wings have been clipped, they should concentrate on getting berra

Oliseh did what a good manager should do, I respect him for that. Wake up guys and stop blaming someone with passion for his job. Tell me an African man in such position or political seat that will resign and say am done in Nigeria that u knw of? Who wan leave better salary. Not even petroleum minister despite scarcity. NFF management is the real problem( Barr green,Onigbinde and co) they will frustrate any hired coach due to over sabi. That is where the real problem is, unless we get this people out of our football and allow transparent process, all coaches will keep facing same issues. Thanks Oliseh for exposing the bad process in Nigeria football and stop blaming him. African can be so sentimental by blaming individual instead of a decayed management process that hinders coaches to perform freely without too much interference. I rest my case

Neither is siasia taking dem ny where.

This is not a blame game, Olisa saw what u and I did nt see,,, I take d word of coach siasia today "God knows why" even if u like play the least country Nigeria wil loose. Our players did very well, d displayed high level of professionalism which d re known 4 in their individual clubs, the coach too is known 4his good profile. D game was N58:E42 in all.. Analysis shown that d coach and his team did quit well, the played like never before, or did nt u pple see two goals from Victor moses one at Kaduna and another at Eqypt wch we almost celebrated and unseen power stroke it out. Fellow Nigerians, our country is cursed, I would hv like us to put d blame on Fedrick Lugard of 1914 or on gen Gowon evil massacre of 1967-70. Peaceful Biafra prayer protest gathering 9th Feb 2016, agatu massacre , nysc copers massacre 2011. Bible speaking "if d foundation is weak what can d just man do" so d players can do noting, I really pity our players. The only solution nigeria have is to allow Republic of Biafra go. Biafra is a curse to Nigeria and d earlier we do this d better of us and prosterity. Our leaders knows this but like pharoah, d have kept deaf ears. God shall help us. I wish d players a successful carriers @ their various clubs.

Our team and the coach performed so well. Witout doubt, they were d best time in both game. But u see d name d played for is d problem, if d foundation is destroyed what çan d just man do. We have good leaders but d problem is d foundation.so channel ur blames to fedrick lugard 1914 or gen Gowon 1967-70. The grace upon Nigeria expired in 2014. The shld let Republic of Biafra go. Biafra is a curse to Nigeria. U can be holding her captive and expect meaningful development.the two sister countries can do well via good diplomatic relationship, Our leaders knows this. Let's preach d good news for Biafra freedom for prosterity. God bless us.

Unknown said...

Now it's not d time to play d blame game...d deed has been done! They should focus on d world Cup qualifying match coming up soonest and do their best to make sure they secure a spot for Nigeria

@ Kinsley we talking abt wat makes pple and u talking Bianca and @ adeniyi, why blame onigbinde? Was it d one Dat recruit or a member of new? D fifa instructor has always bn telling us d gospel truth n never we had listen and we fail at d end. I wld blame rsvp n the Mc for our problem. Barcelona who employes African pep gadiola.... Lol. For a longtime d SE have neve played d brand of beautiful football they played in the 2 legged ACN qualifier in many yrs. If siasia is given d manager of d SE, it shows our future is very bright.
