An insider told OKMagazine.com exclusively that proud parents Beyonce
and Jay Z have been boasting loudly about their daughter’s very
impressive intellect and believe she’s a genius! The 3-year-old, who attends a prestigious school in Hollywood, has been
excelling in music, which comes as no surprise since her famous parents
are hip-hop royalty. She is “showing an understanding of octaves and
major/minor keys,” the source said.
But that’s not all! Blue Ivy is also “showing very early signs of being a mathematic genius,” according to the insider.
Jay and Bey have been so blown away, the source said, of Blue’s ability to count and read numbers at just 3 years old!
“Last month she was able to add up 1+1 and 1+2,” the insider added. “It’s incredible for a child her age.”
And since Blue is so bright, her doting parents want the best for her
and are “having her tested for early signs of genius,” the insider
revealed.

My neighbours daughter will be 3 next month, and she already knows how to read 2x table plus she can tell you the capital of any state you ask in Nigeria. She talks like a parrot tho lol, but at least we know she is intelligent. I was 4 yrs going on 5 yrs when my dad pushed me into primary 1, i was seen as very intelligent. Coming out as 1st or 2nd or 3rd in any of my class among kids older than me. A child can learn anything you diligently and patiently teach him/her. Its unfortunate our teachers weren't thorough and patient enough to help us learn mathematics and other essential subjects. Secondly just having this mentality of greatness, or good confession on your kids can have a significant effect on how the child performs. At home and at school the average African child is demoralised. Everything is taught the hard way,often accompanied by the whip. Teachers can do better in the classroom to help remove shyness and timidity which is brought on by physical, mental, assault on children. While growing up, I asked my teacher a question that might have sounded stupid in her adult mind, instead of correcting me. She called me Olodo and made the class to call me that. Subsequently I withdrew, now afraid to ask or answer questions. Nobody wants to be laughed at. Teachers should adopt new strategies that can help even the "seemingly" dull students. I decided to become a teacher to this effect. I teach Nursery 1. Motivated to help build their foundation. Learning is fun for the children in my class; I bring everything to their level, using songs for easy retention. I encourage and motivate the shy ones. I don't flog a child because he/she can't read ABC. Leave that for when a child has done something morally wrong. Let the child know why you are flogging him/ her. A stroke or two(light) for the little ones.
