God bless you! I thought the same thing too. I wish Linda can live in America for maybe 2 years and after americans are done treating her like shit (which many of them do) because she is an african or because of her accent, she will learn to "worship" them less or not at all. Linda if you like, don't post my comment.
The movie indeed is awesome. I never blinked while watching except when I cleaned off the tears from my eyes. Its a must see!
Nomination well deserved.read the book 2 years ago.it s the dramatic adaptation of the novel The help by Kathryn Stockett,a poignant and compelling tale of racial issues that leaves u with various emotions, dominantly anger and at the end, triumph.for those who still think that Obama's emergence as the president of America is such a 'big deal',read this book.wonderful movie but it did nt do the book justice, the book is a winner!
small minded peeps, out of all the long list of nominatn, has it not occured to u why linda picked The help? Because it strikes close to home,to us as Africans and African-american,ok? She s not American crazy.
that is nice to say
